I’m no stranger to this product, bought it a couple of times before. It did well on the smaller ones, but I must have a rat on steroids or something. Laid out six traps in the corner with no bait. Couple of days went by, no hits. Added bait. A day later after coming home and checking the trap, those things were scattered around. Do y’all have anything stronger?

Don’t waste your money. Just spent a chunk getting 6 packages of these and just put them down. Followed a rat into a closet where I had 2 set up. They are too narrow. The rat simply hopped over them and into a hole in the wall. Caught another one on a separate trap and when I picked it up to dispose of it, the rat fell off. The design is a failed one where the outer lip is elevated. Plus needs to be wider. Will be great for mice, not rats.

It's very large (long) which is nice, it definitely worked to catch the mouse running loose in our house. The mouse was SO tiny and it was on the edge of the glue trap, could have definitely went with a smaller trap, felt a bit wasteful throwing away the big mostly unused glue trap after catching the mouse.

I don't understand why so many bad reviews written on this glue trap. I used it for years and I even trapped two 6-inch bad boys with this glue trap. As instructed, the trap should be placed right next to the cabinet foot board so the rodent would run over it. When I trapped large rats, I always put duct tape underneath to secure the trap. Large rats would be able to drag the trap around as they won't completely sink their four limbs into the glue. Use duct tape and both rat and trap stay right where you placed it.

After catching a few mice using mouse-size glue traps, it seemed all mice are gone from my garage, but I was a bit worried, and decided to try the rat-size glue traps. Finally caught one more (and hopefully the last) mouse! The glue is super sticky. No way for a mouse to escape.

Put down both traps last night. First one disappeared with the rat!! I am still trying to find where the trap is? and he even came back for a second time after freeing himself from the first and managed to free himself from the second trap leaving it upside down on the kitchen floor. Waste of money doesn't work and this is a small rat the size of a gerbil I have seen it!

I had heard blue traps are cruel but I am at wits end with the rats and there insatiable desire to create havoc. So I have put 4 out in areas recommend in the instructions but nothing caught except the paw belonging to my chocolate lab. I couldn't find out what to do until after the fact, no information provided with the product only website,Whatif I don't have access to smartphone or wifi. Not happy and have written To NI H to ban sale of this product

I have been using these for 8 or 9 years in my utility room. Just caught a rat today. Usually, when it rains a lot or the Texas Summers heat up, I will have roaches (palmetto bugs), geckos, and the occasional snake come in. More infrequently, I will have a mouse or rat. I do place these traps along the walls about every 3-4 feet, and on each side of the washing machine, and also on each side of the door into the main area of the house. My rats are not giant NYC size rats-probably about 5 inches long , not counting the tail. I change the traps out about 4 times a year. My house is old, and has places icky pests can sneak in.
