I previously owned the Family Hub generation and recently upgraded to the newer model featuring the larger AI Hub screen. Overall, it's a very good refrigerator — Samsung clearly continues to push the boundaries of what a smart fridge can do. That said, after spending time with it, there are some clear strengths and a few areas where Samsung still has work to do. ✅ What I Love (Pros) Impressive Storage Capacity The interior space is generous and well-organized, making it easy to store everything from weekly grocery hauls to large platters for entertaining. Samsung has done a great job maximizing usable space. Excellent Cooling Performance The cooling is consistent and reliable across all compartments. Food stays fresh noticeably longer, and temperature recovery after opening the doors is quick. Beverage Center & Dual Ice Maker This is honestly one of my favorite features. The built-in beverage center is incredibly convenient for quick access to filtered water and drinks without opening the main door. Having two types of ice makers — cubed and Ice Bites™ — is a surprisingly useful luxury that I didn't know I needed until I had it. Sleek Exterior Design The refrigerator looks premium and modern in the kitchen. The flat-panel finish and minimal hardware give it a clean, built-in aesthetic that elevates the space. Large AI-Powered Touchscreen The upgraded AI Hub screen is significantly larger than the previous Family Hub display and feels more responsive. It serves as a great kitchen command center for managing calendars, viewing recipes, and streaming content while cooking. ⚠️ Where It Falls Short (Cons) Auto-Opening Door Is Underwhelming The hands-free auto-open door feature sounds great in theory, but in practice, it opens far too slowly and doesn't swing open fully. This makes it more of a novelty than a genuinely useful feature — you still end up pulling the door the rest of the way manually, which defeats the purpose. Bixby Is Not a Production-Grade AI Assistant For a refrigerator marketed around AI, the built-in Bixby voice assistant is disappointing. It struggles with basic commands, has limited contextual understanding, and simply doesn't compare to what we've come to expect from modern AI assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant. This is the area with the most room for improvement. Limited App Ecosystem for the Large Screen The AI Hub screen is big and beautiful, but Samsung hasn't fully capitalized on it yet. There's a noticeable lack of useful apps optimized for the vertical display format. The screen has so much potential, but the software library doesn't match the hardware's ambition. Internal Baskets and Trays Feel Flimsy Given the premium price point, I expected sturdier internal components. The baskets and trays feel lightweight and somewhat fragile — they flex more than I'd like when loaded with heavier items. Samsung should invest in more durable materials for these high-touch components. Final Verdict The Samsung AI Hub Refrigerator is a genuinely impressive appliance and a meaningful upgrade over the Family Hub generation. The core refrigerator fundamentals — capacity, cooling, and design — are excellent, and features like the beverage center and dual ice maker add real everyday value. However, the smart features still feel like they're catching up to the hardware. The auto-open door needs to be faster and more functional, Bixby needs a serious AI overhaul, and the app ecosystem needs to grow to justify that beautiful large screen. If Samsung can refine the software experience to match the quality of the hardware, this would easily be a five-star product. Would I recommend it? Yes — it's one of the best smart refrigerators on the market today. The half door on the left side leads to easy access to water or favorite drinks. Topping off the efficency & luxury of this fridge is the full 36 inch panel size family hub is so convenient for many of daily functions. Easy to connect to android phones Google or any other compatible device. The hub has many visibility options, apps, photo display and adjustments for the fridge itself I am 100% Satisfied with this refrigerator.

My last samsung had a light in the bottom freezer. Now my sealing bar between the ref doors is not sealing well. Only had for 6 months. Not happy with the last 3 Samsung products that I have purchased.

The display says ice maker full/off when it's not full and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to manually switch the icon to on/make ice. But it's nice cause there is two different sizes made. The ice tray lid could have been made to open/close easier. Display is nice. Food monitoring for expiration is good. I like the crisper in the middle. Nyice fridge.

Beautiful 4-door refrigerator. Nice not to have handles in the way as you walk by. Larger capacity than our old Samsung refrigerator, but fits in the same spot. Like that the ice maker was moved to the freezer, thus giving more room inside the refrigerator.

It was a great fridge. Loved most of the features and have had no issues with it. Then they updated it and it started showing ads on my screen. Now I will be replacing it and removing Samsung from the list of brands I consider for my Appliances/Electronics in the future. Ridiculous move Samsung.
