We bought this to replace a metal shed that collapsed under the weight of last winter's record snowfall. We loved the extra design features—windows, sky lights. It has ample storage space and the shelves are convenient. Highly recommend paying extra to have it assembled and installed. They had it up in a few hours and it would have taken us days just to unpack the boxes and get organized.

I just finished putting this up. 23 man hours, must have two people. Pros: The large book of directions were easy to follow. Nice directions to build the wood platform. I like the built in shelves, and they add stability. Seems well made. Easier than a wood kit. Like the side entrance. Fits my 42” zero turn easily with lots of floorspace left over. Nice gutter design. Cons: Doors were hard to get perfect, because for a few steps they are held on with one screw into plastic. the deadbolts are held in place in a plastic rectangle in the floor. Overall I would recommend, if you are wanting a plastic shed.

I ordered this shed with installation included. About a week after I ordered online I got a call for delivery and about the same time a call from another outfit who does the assembly. I was home to receive the materials (put in my garage) and several days later to welcome the installation team. All worked seamlessly. Everyone did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier. Hats off to Sams.

Just finished assembling this 8x10 Lifetime shed and was surprised to find it was NOT as difficult as others have stated. Yes, there are a LOT of parts to assemble, but the instructions are fairly straight-forward and easy to follow. Did most of it myself as a One-Man show, but final assembly will definitely need TWO people to do correctly... The result is a VERY practical and NICE LOOKING shed that should last a good long while (guaranteed for 10 years)! This is not the cheapest 8x10 resin type shed you can find out there, but it IS probably the nicest - especially with the two built-in side shelves, overhead skylights, and the OPENING rear window in back. I'm a HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!

I did all of the prep work of installing the sun roofs and windows. I also assembled the joists before hand. The instructions were great. My son and I worked together to put it up. It took us 4 - 5 hours. We watched some of the assembly videos also. Shipping through Estes was great. They arrived a hour and a half before the stated arrival time. The driver also dropped in our garage at the end of our long driveway.

I wish I elected to have Sam's people install it. I hired a local guy who did not pay attention to detail. In the end to door is slightly off to opening and closing to outside latch is challenging. The inside latches to go in the floor and upper part of the door don't seem to attach to anything. Overall it seems like it will be a great shed. We are just begining to move things from the garage to the shed. It appears to be sturdy. I love the shelves and will look at adding other hooks and shelves.

So far so good. I have read other reviews and people stated that the instructions were difficult. I didn't find the instructions too complicated. You just have to take your time and do not be in a rush. Lay out your product and become familiar with the parts. I can see how this build could be a two man job but I was able to complete it by myself. It took me two days to complete. Product comes in two boxes. Make sure your base is level before the build. I applied a water sealant application to my wood floor before I started building for added protection. When completed, the shed stands strong and sturdy as expected. The windows let in a ton of light. If you prefer privacy then you may want to go with the shed with less windows. I'm satisfied with my purchase and this is the best bang for your buck.

You can't build a shed without all the parts. Just ask lifetime. They have dedicated staff just for your missing parts. Especially the type that don't care at all about you or your money. Literally stating “you won't always get all the parts, that's why we have a number for you to call”. Seriously! Beyond that, it's so far a decent product.

Overall a nice shed, but none of the pieces or hardware was properly marked. The instructions would identify a certain piece of hardware, but the bag(s) the hardware was in had different markings which made the assembly process take considerably longer.

This shed was very difficult to put together and the directions are impossible to follow the person I hired for putting it together is very good at that kind of thing and was extremely frustrated.....it also had a damaged panel but the box was not damaged, so from manufacturer .....because the doors are tall they don't seem very secure and they appear to bow a little and the flooring that comes with it even though we did a concrete slab is not conducive to cleaning with all the cracks and the way it fits together..... flooring could have been a better design! It's just a shed but overall not happy with this product
