I had bought the larger model from HDepot and the connections are all plastic threads and easily damaged. I returned it. It was also $30 more. This model from Sam’s club is excellent and the brass fittings are perfect.

Convenient way to store my hose. Easy on, easy off. I love that it swivels at the bottom to face the direction you are unloading or reloading the hose from. Also love the automatic feed. Only had it a month, but everything is good so far.

Great hose reel, four stakes located on bottom of base to nail into ground. Also love seeing Sams carry Made in the USA product

Ive only had it a short time, but it seems solid, and winds the hose well. It did not arrive with the stakes needed to keep it in place. I really like the swivel base.

Overall a good value hose reel, the swivel is not that smooth , but is capable of helping direct where you need to bring your hose. For the price I would buy again. I rated 4 star because the swivel base tends to disconnect from the main body and the plastic ball bearing go everywhere when it happens occasionally.

My hose is a high quality, expensive and multilayered. It does not wind on the reel without getting tangled and overlapped on the reel. It took me 30 minutes to remove the entangled hose. And yes I did thread the hose through the device that supposedly makes the hose wind neatly. It might work fine with a hose smaller in diameter and more flexible but I’m not willing to buy a smaller hose to find I’ve just wasted my money. I plan to return it. Very disappointed. Giving 3 stars as I don’t know how it might work on smaller hoses.

As you reel a hose, the front plastic assembly is very flexible, lacking a structural sturdiness. Also as you wind hose, it wants to reel over the hose connected to drum. The automatic guided hose reel bar is oversized and should have been approximately 1” shorter on hose connection side. The hold unit lack a sturdier design.

Hose that connects to facet links no matter how tight it is. Hose to connector same issue. If container swivels to release more hose water sprays. Hard to move, hose hard to wind up after use. Poor quality 😢

Cheaply constructed, very lightweight plastic!! Does not stay in place when pulling out the hose. Why a lazy Susan base, doesn’t make sense to me!!!!!!!

This too flimsy to last.
