We have been wanting a good generator for our home for a while. Once that uses either fuel OR propane! In case we need to use for Fridge, fans, lights, charging items, microwave, floor heaters - AND we got the plug extender too. Works amazing! Very reliable - all our neighbors want one now - referred them to Champion! My mother uses oxygen at her home 24/7 and she bought one as back up emergencies too! Excellent product!

I bought this unit mainly because of the dual fuel which will give me lots of flexibility after a hurricane or a storm. It does take a few more pools to start it on propane but it's great fuel system. Having the ability to also power my camper for when we wanna boondock is a plus.

We recently moved to Nashville, and have been thru a tornado, and a 70 mph storm, which we lost power both times. My bro in MI has a gas generator i won't name, and this Champion Duel Fuel. I was there visiting, and they had a 3 day power outage. We couldn't get his gas generator running, but we hooked up his Champion to his BBQ propane bottle, and it fired right up. I was so impressed with the ease of operation, and the convenience of the the "Duel Fuel" option, i went out and bought one just like his, thx Champion a reasonably priced, excellent product.

The initial setup was a breeze. Using the instructions, I added the oil as required and followed all instructions prior to starting the generator. It started on the first pull, then stopped. After reading more instructions about starting, I realized I forgot to move the throttle to the correct position. Once the throttle was corrected, it started immediately. It was louder than I thought it would be. I let it run for about 2 minutes before plugging my RV Trailer into it. Once connected, I proceeded to turn on all the lights - a total of 22. Then turned on the refrigerator, then turned on the heater. Everything worked with no strain on the power source whatsoever. Waited about 5 minutes, then put some microwave popcorn into the microwave and started it. There was no dimming of the lights. The generator did ramp up to generate the power needed. While everything was on, I check the status of my RV's battery - which indicated 100%. Then I turned on the TV and again no dimming of the lights. This is a great generator with a dual fuel source. The next day, I did the same thing, and no problems with the power source and no dimming of the lights. Now I'm 5 hours into running the generator. I turned it off, drained the oil using the screw facing you directly under the yellow oil filler screw. Added the .6 liters of Mobil 1 5W30 Full Synthetic Oil. Keep in mind, you might need to elevate the generator to have enough room to drain the oil because it is at the bottom. Checked to ensure the oil was filled to the correct level and restarted the generator. Everything worked as before. I made sure I ran the generator for a total of 5 hours to ensure the break-in cycle was completed before changing the oil. It is heavier than I thought, seeing I have to move it by myself. But it is worth all the effort required to move it. I purchased a funnel to use when pouring the gasoline into the tank. Otherwise, you'll be wiping gasoline from the top and side of the fuel tan

I purchased this generator to provide some power during a severe storm or Hurricane. Having been through Hurricanes Charley and Irma, I felt it was time to prepare for the worst. I intend to use it to power the refrigerator, a box fan or two, and maybe a TV or laptop. The main reasons I chose Champion are: price, dual fuel, portability, ease of use, and reliability. After adding the oil (which is a bit cumbersome), I connected a propane tank, and she fired up on the third pull. Works great! My only complaint is the lack of wheels and a handle. However, I purchased the appropriate Champion Wheel Kit, and now it's perfect for my use. I believe the wheel kit should be part of the package.

Power company doing maintenance and shutting off electricity for a day. Purchase this generator three days before. Followed the instructions, easy to setup. I use the propane tank from my barbuque. I had power all day long. Got power to two refrigerators, the internet router and computers. There was plenty of power for everything. My wife was very happy

WE have been looking for a generator to use with our trailer for camping... and this has become a life saver! Has enough watts for us to power our trailer. It doesn't have wheels but it is easy enough to move with two people. Great value and has been working great! Glad we found the Champion generator!

Out of the box, added oil, hooked up the propane threw a couple switches and pulled the cord and I had a working generator. Scary how easy it went. Everything was as advertised. Wish wheels and a handle were included. However I was able to thread a rod that fit the holes and added a couple old lawnmower wheels in about an hour I was wheeling it outside. Next up is a mod to an old lawnmower handle to make it easier to move around. Bring on the weather, we are ready!!

Just unpacked it today and fired it up. Started without any problems and generated enough power to run several power tools. Price was good, product seems solid, and delivery was quick. Will be using this on a hunting trip to power camping electronics. This unit is very heavy.

We bought as a portable back up to keep the basics up and running in case of power outage. It's easy to move out of the shop, and into place for operation. I used it a few weeks ago on gas and after that ran out, switched to LP for a couple of more hours. everything worked fine.
