This is actually our 2nd Champion generator. We bought this one to mount on our 5th wheel RV. It is powerful enough to run most everything on our rig without being too big or heavy. We really like the dual fuel capability, the propane is easier and less messy to use while traveling. It is just right for our needs while on the road. One major factor for buying this second Champion is the dependability we have experienced with the one we use at home. We have owned our original Champion for about 5 years and have never had an issue with it.

I purchased the generator about 2 weeks ago and just tested it last week. It worked great with just one pull for the start recoil. The manual is easy for me to understand and the noise of the generator is not bad at all. The shortcoming was no wheel, so I have to buy a wheel set and mount the wheels by myself.

I am using this dual fuel generator to power our 30 amp travel trailer when we are boondocking, It works great and will run a long time on a single tank of gas. Really like the option to use propane as well. Added the wheel kit and makes it easier to maneuver.

I purchased this generator to replace a 20 year old generator of the same wattage. My first use was on Monday, 13 April after an EF-0 tornado touched down very near our home and downed power lines. I'm very pleased with the overall performance of the unit. The fuel capacity is very good, resulting in over 8 hours of run time under load for a full tank of gasoline. While not as quiet as some significantly more expensive generators, this unit is much quieter than my old generator. I can barely hear it running from inside my home.

Got tired of not having a generator for when the power goes out at home and when doing something with power tools where there is no access to electricity nearby. I looked at many generators but settled with the dual fuel - figured if the power went out for an extended period of time and ran out of gas I could use propane instead. So far the generator has been perfect for my needs and would recommend it.

We are going on a multi-State camping trip, and we will be boondocking it most of the way. This Generator is the best option for power by far. It runs on propane and is as quiet as a small lawn mower. if placed in the right position you can not hear it at all in the trailer GREAT for sleeping.

I purchased the 4370/3500 dual fuel generator at a discount store where you have to have a membership. The price was fantastic. However, it had no wheels or cover. I quickly purchased those on line. I cranked up the machine running on gasoline with a few pulls and it ran for about 1.5 hours with the gas I put in it. I then switched to propane and ran it again the next day with propane until broken in. I ran it the next day with propane and turned on the A/C on my 30' travel trailer. It is a 13,500 btu unit I think. It ran just the refrigerator, the A/C and the lights just fine. I ran the microwave a few seconds and it seemed fine. I think running the electric water heater at 1000 watts may be stretching it but I will see later. Setting up was easy. There really wasn't anything to assemble. A few cranks and it started right up. I think you might have to wait a few seconds for the propane to reach the carburetor before it starts. I don't know about the propane consumption until I run it all night.

Our city was hit by a recent Derecho Storm--Hurricane straight-line winds over land. In its wake, the entire city and much of the county were left without power. Three days after the storm and outage, we learned that it could be several more days before electricity was restored. We purchased the first generator we could locate...and the first that I'd ever boughten. It was a Champion 3599 Dual Fuel Generator. I closely followed the 8 steps on the glossy, single-page, set-up guide, then pulled the recoil cord twice and the generator blazed into action. We were able to run fans, charge devices, and power lamps. My neighbor purchased a different brand and more powerful generator...but had problems with it quitting before it had even run 5 hours! This machine provided the source of electricity that my family and I needed to make it another 5 days! I'm feeling very positive about my purchase and have the assurance that it will do the job in future outages.

From August 1-November 1 is considered hurricane season in southern Louisiana, you need to be prepared for outages. We bought the Dual fuel for hurricane Ida. Great price-easy to start, doesn't burn alot of gas and quiet. Glad we bought the Champion. Great price too.
