We recently moved to Nashville, and have been thru a tornado, and a 70 mph storm, which we lost power both times. My bro in MI has a gas generator i won't name, and this Champion Duel Fuel. I was there visiting, and they had a 3 day power outage. We couldn't get his gas generator running, but we hooked up his Champion to his BBQ propane bottle, and it fired right up. I was so impressed with the ease of operation, and the convenience of the the "Duel Fuel" option, i went out and bought one just like his, thx Champion a reasonably priced, excellent product.

Set up is well documented and easy to follow. All locations of connectors, switches as well as capacity facts of all components , well done. Ran it for a test run but have not put it to the test running home appliances during a power failure. A bit noisey .

Our neighborhood power grid goes down quite often, so, I decided a generator would be a great addition to our preparedness supplies. My next door neighbor was setting up his generator during an outage and I inquired about it. He gave a glowing recommendation, and, I have to say that he was absolutely right. The quality of the machine and the ease of use make it a great preparedness generator.

This thing fired up on the first pull very easily. Powers my camper effortlessly. is fairly easy to move. i ordered the wheel kit to make super easy to move. i love that it is duel fuel and can be stored away and hook it up to propane whenever there may be an emergency and no gas available. happy i bought

Due to the recent storms here in North Texas, I hooked up a interlock kit and power inlet box to my house. I will be pouring a small pad for the generator to sit on so I can pull it out there when needed and flip the switch to run my refrigerators and freezer in times of need. I feel like everyone needs one of these!

I purchased this generator in preparation for the upcoming hurricane season. All I have done so far is crank it up and run it for break in. I ran it on gas as well as propane for about 4 hours with various loads. It cranked on second pull, with first pull just to apply choke. It was very easy to pull start and ran flawlessly for the 4 hours. I ran a box fan, radio, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, and shop vac for break in. The cons I have with it are that it does not come with wheels (but you can get a wheel kit for around $35), adding and changing oil can be a little difficult because it is so low to the ground, and that I had to take the cylinder head cover off in order to remove the spark plug (which I did in order to put oil in the cylinder for long-term storage). The spark plug socket simply would not go between the cylinder head cover and the other cover around the rest of the engine. But I see all of this as minor maintenance issues. It just needs to run and provide power, which it has done so far. I fully expect it to operate in the same manner the next time I need it.

Simply put, although cliche! This generator is a Champion!! Hurricane IAN rolled through, power out almost 3 days now.... this little generator saving us a lot of headaches..! Got the fridge, freezer, 2 fans and phones charging ! Absolutely a great little generator and yes, I would buy again AND recommend to anyone who will listen!

Love it, during an extended power outage it was awesome to be able to use the fridge, know that the freezer was safe. We ran the TV, DVD, and fish tank. Even plunged in a floor heater at night. Starts first pull every time, even my nine year-old grandson can start it. Very pleased. If there was one bad thing, it's a little noisy but that comes with the territory of a 3500 watt generator.

Bought this generator for emergency back-up power. Tested both gas and propane when I first got it and it ran great. Needed it for power outage last night and it would not start on propane but ran great on gas. Ran for several hours powering window A/C unit and several lamps. Contacted customer service today about propane issue. Rep said it sounded like a propane regulator issue, so she shipped me a new regulator, no charge, no questions asked. Best customer service I've experienced in a long time.
