Started right out of the box, after adding oil & gasoline, on the third pull. Let it warm up and connected refrigerator/ freezer following the easy to understand instructions & WALAAH !!. First time in my 82 years of having a standby generator. Will have it wired to panel but now ready for the forecasted I've storm tonight in NC.

Both of my generators were in the shop waiting on service/repair. Weather forecast was for a substantial ice storm. Went looking for a generator to be prepared in case the worst happens. This one was available. The features, (dual fuel, low noise level) and reasonable cost led me to purchase it. Setup was easy and instructions essentially clear. The only drawback is the weight. For true portability a wheel kit should be included standard with this unit. Rating guide above only shows whole stars, without the wheel kit my actual rating is 4.5.

Since the last mayor hurricane hit PR in 2017, tje power grid on the island has been unstable. I was finally able to buy this generator and when a blackout occurs, finally I don't need to throw out anything frome my fridge, I can sleep with certain comfort. It's easy to use, and reliable

This is a great addition to our emergency kit. I love the fact that on propane it can be stored without worrying about the ethanol gummy residue. We plan to store this and the manual highlights how easy it is to prep it for storage if I don't use gasoline.

Is very easy to use, love the ability to run on either gas or propane. Easy pull start and not too loud. I would highly recommend the wheel kit (Sold separately) that makes moving the generator much easier for me and my wife. Terrific value for the price!

I bought the generator this past summer when a hurricane was supposed to hit the houston area. We were spared this time but having lived through several before and endured the aftermath I pulled the trigger on a generator. I like the idea of duel fuel. Well during the recent ice/snow/power outage it was a godsend. Fuel became hard to get and my options were wider than only a single fuel. We have an all electric home and so a natural gas all home generator was out of the question. The equipment got us through the 33 hours without power.

I dragged it out and connected the prophane tank which was full/new and followed the directions and pulled and pulled on the starter rope, nothing. Very disappointed in this product. I wish it had an electric starter available for it as a kit, I looked and found nothing available. My troybuilt started first pull after sitting 3 years with fuel in the tank and ran 12 hours on a half a tank of fuel. Won't ever buy another champion product.

I had purchased this generator over 6 months ago and never taken it out of the box. However, my power went off today and had the opportunity to use it. I was sort of disappointed that it did not have oil already in the reservoir or had oil to aid. I have only operated this generator with propane so far and was very surprised how easy it was to start the first time. I'm also very happy that you can operate this generator with gasoline or propane. I would purchase this generator again.

The Champion 3500W Dual Fuel Generator was exactly what I needed. I ordered the unit online and it was shipped right to my door. I had an older, similar model that worked great until it was destroyed by a flood so I decided to go with the Champion again. Easy to set up and I really like the dual fuel option. I hooked it up to lp gas but haven't used the gasoline option yet. It was a little hard to start at first but that was partly due to cold weather. Based on my past experience with Champion generators I don't expect any problems.

This generator has not disappointed. It is everything it was advertised to be and for the money it is a very good value. I like the ease of getting it running just out of the box. This is being used as back up generator at home as well as being used with our RV. I would give it 5 stars and hesitated giving it only 4 stars except for the noise level. It would be nice if it were not so loud.
