Easy to use product - Worth every penny

We bought this item in case we needed it during hurricane season. Fortunately we didn't have any hurricanes. However, we ended up using this during an ice storm that caused a power outage. The generator was easy to setup and started immediately. We only needed it for a few hours before the power came back on. Definitely would recommend.

Bang for your buck

Hurricane preparation and aftermath. Occasional camping and tailgating trips. Its not like you spend a grand to put up on a shelf for 9-11 months out of the year. Its easier to justify the expense and can run all your essentials. Just right for what I was looking for.

I would defiantly purchase this unit again.

I purchased the unit on October 2, 2022. Hurricane Ian hit Cape Coral, Fl, and knocked out power for 13 days. I used propane as the primary fuel and 1 tank of gas. I ran critical items in the house for 13 days straight, 24 hours daily. The unit started each time flawlessly after changing the fuel. The outlet configuration provides 2x120AC 20 amp, 1 30A, TT-30R, and 1 120v AC, 30 locking L5-30R. I used 12 20-lb propane tanks during the outage period. I averaged 12-14 hours per tank based on my electrical connections and connected devices.

Very Reliable for a great price

I bought this generator a couple of months ago, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I was looking for something portable and easy to maintain and this is just it. The fact that you can use it either with gas or propane is a plus; and it doesn't consume too much combustible.

Great Generator

I looked around for a while researching generators, mainly for our camp trailer we bought, but also for a home back up option. I saw this one at Sam's and was sold. Once I got it home I unpackaged it. The packaging was good with all the parts zip tied to the frame. The one thing I didn't notice was that it did not come with a container of oil. (10W-30) I was getting ready to run to the store when I read in the manual that you can use a few different options depending on the temperature and use. I had some 5W-30 Synthetic that I use in my vehicles and was glad to see that this was an option. So, I filled the oil and gas pulled a couple times and wa la! Let it run for a while and continued reading the owners manual. I was thrilled I could use the Synthetic oil in it and not have to make an additional trip to the store for setup. So, if you don't have oil and are going to purchase one, grab some while your out. To Champions credit, it is clearly labeled on the box that oil is not included. I can't wait to use this thing with our camper to run the AC and everything else. The dual fuel Propane and Gas was something that was a great selling point for me as well! Thanks!!

Dual Fuel 3500 Watt Gen runs Travel Trailer A/C just fine

I purchased the 4370/3500 dual fuel generator at a discount store where you have to have a membership. The price was fantastic. However, it had no wheels or cover. I quickly purchased those on line. I cranked up the machine running on gasoline with a few pulls and it ran for about 1.5 hours with the gas I put in it. I then switched to propane and ran it again the next day with propane until broken in. I ran it the next day with propane and turned on the A/C on my 30' travel trailer. It is a 13,500 btu unit I think. It ran just the refrigerator, the A/C and the lights just fine. I ran the microwave a few seconds and it seemed fine. I think running the electric water heater at 1000 watts may be stretching it but I will see later. Setting up was easy. There really wasn't anything to assemble. A few cranks and it started right up. I think you might have to wait a few seconds for the propane to reach the carburetor before it starts. I don't know about the propane consumption until I run it all night.

Safe!

Bought this to protect food and provide lights during utility companies shut down during wind events. Unit started on first pull after set-up and never required more than 2 pulls at other times. All food SAFE and lights available at night. My only complaint is minor. I feel the gas tank filter is too small, requiring slow fueling but I can live with that.

Great so far

After some easy assembly, the generator ran with ease. So far nothing seems off about the generator. I bought this generator to back up some appliances during hard weather conditions. I love the fact that this generator can run off of both gasoline and propane.

Yes. I'd defnitely buy this item again. Come on Snowmagedon!

I am a 63 year old woman who pledged she would never be cold again. Last February, we had Snowmagedon here in San Antonio, Texas. It was miserable! No electricity or water for 5 days! I decided tpo get a generator, after alot of searching I decided Dual Fuel was the way to go. I had alot of trouble at first getting it started because there are no words on the choke, just symbols. Finally, my son came out (he using them all the time at his job, Six Flags Fiest Texas), moved the choke to other side and it started on the second pull. It's not near as loud as I thought it was going to be and I can use it for my motorhome at 30A.

Great product!

I bought this generator Model 100401 because the price was reasonable, and it had many features I wanted in a generator. The instructions to get it operational honestly were not great but it ran perfect, and I am very pleased will its ability to perform consistently. Thats why I would recommend this generator because it's reliable and cost effective for most applications. Thanks for creating a high-quality product!
