This is a great buy for the price. Only used it on propane so far. It is much quieter than other generators I own. Wish it came with wheels. Awkward to move without them. Easy to set-up and use the first time and started with ease. Have recommended this unit to several friends and family.

This is not the biggest generator on the market, but for the size and value, it's perfect for keeping essentials powered up in case of power failure or emergency. Last year, we were without power for a few days and besides the constant inconveniences, we also lost hundreds of dollars in food from our refrigerator and freezer, never again. Love that it runs on either gas or propane, I can never predict how much gas I'll have on hand with always using it in mowers, etc but it's easy to keep a full propane cylinder on hand to make sure we can keep power on for hours until we can fill up gas cans.

I purchased the 3500-WATT DUAL FUEL GENERATOR June 2021. We live in an area that is frequently impacted by hurricanes. So today Aug 28, 2021 I take the 3500-WATT DUAL FUEL GENERATOR out of the box fill it with fuel and oil and it wouldn't start. I even went to the store and purchased propane and it still didn't start. I've followed all instructions, but nothing. I did however find one video that instructed me to disconnect the "black cable" and it ran. My only problem is that "black cable" is where the power comes from right? Hurricane Ida is scheduled to make landfall in 24-36 hours, any assistance would he great.

Used it for the power outage. It supplied power to 2 freezers,fridge,coffee pot,computers and tv's,and a few lights. Was even able to run the microwave at times. A good value for the cost. And the dual fuel is a plus. Only drawback is no wheels,but not hard to make a wheeled cart for it.

This thing fired up on the first pull very easily. Powers my camper effortlessly. is fairly easy to move. i ordered the wheel kit to make super easy to move. i love that it is duel fuel and can be stored away and hook it up to propane whenever there may be an emergency and no gas available. happy i bought

I had a Boliy inverter generator that wouldn't start (again) while we were preparing for our 3rd hurricane in as many years. Fought with it for a few weeks and finally gave in due to lack of parts and support. Having a Propane outboard for over 4 years with zero problems, I started looking for Propane generators. Found Champion's website while doing an overabundance of research and I was immediately impressed with the reviews, part availability and tech support, so I thought I'd give them a try. While the 100401 isn't exactly what I wanted due to the dB levels, I figured for the price I'd give it a try while I wait for 100402 to become available. The instructions were a breeze to follow and I was up and running (on Propane) in no time. Quality and attention to detail in the construction are impressive and it's given me the confidence in Champion as a company I was looking for.

Using it at the moment due to power outage. It has ran smoothly and kept the A/C running. That is a wonderful thing because it is really in Georgia. It has definitely kept us from being miserable. I am very glad that I chose to buy this model. I also like the fact that I can operate it on propane or gas.

After several power outages last summer we knew it was time for a home generator. We made the right choice with this Champion dual fuel. The dual fuel is our favorite feature. This compact machine works great! There is great power output and its not too loud.

I bought this generator for whole house back up power. I specifically picked this model because it was dual fuel. I have run it extensively on propane because I know that by using propane I don't have to worry about gumming up the generator with old gas. I like the fact I can use gas if I need to. The generator was easy to set up, easy to break in, and starts on the 1st or 2nd pull every time. It does run as advertised for the lengths given on propane. 3500 watts is enough to power my house (gas range, gas water heater, gas furnace). I love knowing that I have the power needed if I get a power outage. The generator has a nice small footprint, easy to move, and looks good. It feels like it will give me years of trouble free use. Overall I'd recommend this and Champion brand generators to my friends and family. I'm already thinking of buying a smaller one for camping.

This is a great addition to our emergency kit. I love the fact that on propane it can be stored without worrying about the ethanol gummy residue. We plan to store this and the manual highlights how easy it is to prep it for storage if I don't use gasoline.
