[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, the sound? Great. We’re not audiophiles and it does the job well and movies, tv, and games sound very nice! The Lord of the Rings trilogy sounds epic in our little apartment with this baby. What sucks- the connectivity. Sometimes it just stops? And then we have to reset it, sometimes that doesn’t even work, and we have to keep trying until it does. It’s unbelievably frustrating to watch a movie and suddenly the sound is coming from the TV and is no longer surrounding us. Sometimes the subwoofer just disconnects and the soundbar remains connected, so the sound is hollow. It’s frustrating and I haven’t gotten to the point where we’re giving up yet but sometimes I want to throw my remote and be done with it. We’re on a streak of about 10 days no issues and maybe we’re out of the woods but we’ll see. Still gonna use it!

The clear dialogue option has made it easier and the mix is great! The sound bar paired with the sub adds some extra depth to the sound! The soundbar not only looks stylish on display but has easy access to the app controls. Having different movie and music options is also cool for different vibes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar came in a nice packaged box. Came with instructions and mounting hardware if you had a Vizio tv. Right out the box I tried connecting it to an older flat screen with no result. Moved to next tv a bit newer with same results. I finally hooked it up to my newest tv about 4 years old and it picked up the sound. The sound gave a great 3D surround effect but had to download the app to fine tune it. Overall good beginner speaker. Bass was there but not enough to rumble picture frames. Great for a small room or space.

After setting it up for the first time, I sat in front of it listening to songs that I have heard many times, but now was able to hear them in a different way, with additional instrument sounds, My soundbar did not come with a manual, only the quick-start guide. Therefore, I found a manual online. I realized that the quick-start guide had all the information needed to set it up. As long as you have a minimal amount of experience with setting up audio equipment, it is relatively straight-forward to do. One of the things that puzzled me was that the online information on the soundbar kept saying its buttons to put it on/off, for bluetooth, volume up/down, etc were on the top of the soundbar. After examining the sound bar, I realized those buttons are actually on the side of the soundbar. I received this free from Influenster for my honest opinion.

Now it's like I'm at the movie theater every time I watch a movie. The sound quality is amazing. My husband was very impressed with the sound quality also. It connects easily to my TV and to my phone. The app is easy to use also. I am very happy with the Vizio 2.1 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. We will definitely be looking into more Vizio products for future purchases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to install this in our bedroom and it really amplifies our sound experience. Quality sound. There were a couple times where connectivity was an issue… would turn on but we wouldn’t get any sound at all. Had to restart and disconnect-reconnect the cables for it to start working again. Overall, everything works great, but lacks consistent connectivity which made it a little frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was really easy, just add the HDMI cable and plug the speakers in! I have just been using my TV speakers, so the sound quality of the Vizio sound bar was definitely a huge improvement! However, when it came to an action scene, the bass nearly made me jump off my couch. It was much louder than it needed to be,​ and not in tune with the scene. I knew I needed to adjust the levels. I was super disappointed to find out I had to download an app to adjust the sound levels. In the app you have to agree to receive targeted ads, give up some of your personal data, and then they ask if they can access your contacts and call history when you sign into Bluetooth. The last one is optional, but you have to toggle it. Call me old fashioned, but I'm SO TIRED of kitchen appliances or household electronics requiring you to download an app and sign away your privacy in order for the product to work. Vizio is probably making money on your data after you pay them for the product. This could have been a cool experience with a great new product, but my experience was really soured by all the extra hoops I had to go through to get it to work right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s an affordable speaker system that’s versatile as in you can use via Bluetooth or hdmi cords. The sound is okay and you can adjust the bass, etc from the app. The sub woofer is also a nice touch. What I don’t like about it and why I wouldn’t buy it is because you have to download an app to use it. You have to go through the app prior to playing any music through it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this soundbar and subwoofer! It was so easy to set up and was ready right out of the box. The instructions were very clear and setup only took about five minutes since you just have to plug everything in. This is the first soundbar I've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare to, but I love it for several reasons. The quality of sound is very clear and I can hear parts of songs I've never even heard before. It picks up the depth and fullness in songs that cannot be heard in most of my other speakers like my car or phone. The volume levels are really nice and the bass works well even at low volumes. One thing I'm disappointed about is not at the fault of the product but should be mentioned. My TV is older and does not have the HDMI ARC option needed to use the soundbar for watching TV or movies, so I've only been using it for music. If using for music only, there is no need to download the app, you can just connect your phones Bluetooth by holding down the Bluetooth button on the soundbar for two seconds, turn on Bluetooth on your phone and select the Vizio soundbar to pair them, and a sound plays through the speaker to let you know it worked. If a song is not selected within a couple minutes, the Bluetooth will unpair, unfortunately. If you're looking for the perfect space for the speaker and subwoofer, keep in mind the soundbar is just about 30 in x 3.25 in x 2.5 in and the subwoofer is about 11 in x 6.5 in x 7.5 in. Maybe one day if I upgrade my TV situation, I can give another update! I would recommend this product and would definitely buy another Vizio sound product simply for the quality and ease of setup. It also looks pretty nice and sleek!
