Multiple boards were delivered with cracks. During assembly multiple additional cracks occurred even though we asssmbled with care.

We purchased this set during a Black Friday sale and put it together ourselves in April when it got warmer. The first construction day, we hosted a drop-in party for family and friends to help put it together and it did take a little longer than the instructions approximated despite having very capable dads put in some hours. The second day we worked hard to finish the rest. We have an 18 month and 3 year old who enjoy it very much. The doors, openings, and ceiling are on the shorter side, so perfect for our kids, but older children would be a little cramped inside. The double swing is a nice feature and we switched out one of the regular swings for a baby swing with harness for more variety. The app was very helpful and I highly suggest organizing all the boards and hardware beforehand. Otherwise, you will be spending so much time searching for each piece instead of really building. The downside to the app was, it was not identical instructions to the paper/booklet of instructions provided with the set. One must be more updated, but when we found ourselves searching for a piece that we couldn’t find or did not have enough of, usually when we referenced the hard copy directions, it had something else in its place. Otherwise, a fair amount of work, but worth it in the end as the final product seems sturdy and fun for the kids.

I waffled on purchasing due to the assembly complexity & my un-level backyard. I’m glad I moved forward with purchasing, it has been a fun month with my daughter playing on it daily. I assembled by myself (no carpentry skills) & it took about 25 hrs, including the time to organize the inventory. Probably could have shaved 5 hrs off if I had someone handing me the screws/bolts needed for each install piece as this seemed to be the biggest pain. I had a 5” elevation change from one side over the full length of playset. I bought several different sized bricks to level out each structure baseboard. It’s fully level! Overall, it was worth it & glad to see my daughter enjoying it on the daily.

My children (ages 3, 4, 6) love this playground set! The product is very sturdy. Although of course the assembly is time consuming, the instructions are incredibly clear and everything was labeled properly. One box broke open during shipping, and Backyard Discovery sent us the missing parts immediately. My husband and I put this set together in about 15 hours total. We are so far very pleased with the product and my kids are having a blast!

This is a giant play set. We liked the little kitchen and the 2nd story. As we have 5 kids (elements age and younger) that would be using this. Building it went way faster with the BILT app. We had a couple of missing pieces, which the were shipped once requested. If I could change a few things. I would add a bottom level house for smaller children. The kitchen window needs to not be next to that bench as I am worried about my kids under 3 falling out. And a switch the slide to a solid plastic one (my personal preference).

We purchased as a Christmas gift for our 4 kids. We planned needing a week or more to assemble, but we're pleasantly shocked to find that with teamwork, we were able to assemble in three days (between weather breaks). The kids have loved it (ages 2-8) and look forward to adventuring outside daily!

We purchased this swingset in March/April and planned to build it before the nice weather came. We ran into some issues in the four boxes that it was delivered and ended up having to sit outside with a tarp covering them for a few weeks. I was a little nervous it would affect some of the wood but it did not. Once my husband started building it, he worked on it a few hours every day and it took about two weeks to complete. He used the app BILT which was a lifesaver. He said it was very easy to follow along the instructions on that rather than the instruction paper it came with. once it was completed, my kids were so excited to see it and couldn’t believe how big it was. it looks absolutely beautiful in our backyard and is nice and large for the kids to grow into. We will be happy with this product for the next 10+ years. We have received so many compliments on how big and nice it is. We didn’t have any issues with wood being damaged or pieces missing at all like some other reviews mentioned. The delivery process was smooth and they kept me informed the whole time. Overall, very happy with the site and would buy another! FYI, I researched probably every swingset out there before choosing this one

We bought ours last fall for our grandson’s birthday party. We thought we could just put it together in a few hours..no big deal. Not so! It took us over 15 hours and that was with 3 people working together! But it was totally worth it. The kids loved it and now with our third grandchild on the way, we know it will be enjoyed for many years to come.

A gift from my kids grandparents. Been a crazy few months. Finally got to build this monstrosity. Directions were easy to follow. Kids couldn’t wait for the build to be finished. They played in the first little club house as soon as it was complete. They were so excited to use the stairs. They really get moving going down the slide. The love the swings and are oldest like to jump out of the swing when she’s done. The neighbor comes over and enjoys the set too. Glad to have our own park in our own backyard. Easy but time consuming build( well worth it ). Sturdy and fun.

Assembled Summer 2018. All parts accounted for in delivery. Recommend organizing piles of wood by letter. Roughly 40 hours to build and 10 hours to put 1 coat of sealant. Only tricky item was using the right bolt, not only in size but color. Daughter and neighbors love the set. Playhouse a bit small but fort is 6' tall inside. Rear playhouse window could use a small board across. Comes with anchors. Needs option for sandbox cover.
