NOT GLUTEN FREE

Heads up! If you need to avoid wheat, don't buy this. It has regular old panko bread crumbs on top. My husband liked it, but what's the point of replacing pasta with cauliflower if you're still going to top it with wheat-based carbs? Also, I noticed the cheese is just on the top of the cauliflower, not distributed throughout. Just not a great product.

Nasty recipe change!

This used to be the perfect cauliflower mac and cheese until the company added eggs and removed the panko crumbs. It didn't even state "new recipe" on the box. We popped it into the microwave as usual and noticed it smelled nasty. Not sure what's going on with Tattooed Chef but eggs are not plant based or vegetarian.

It's ok.

I was excited to find this but not wowed by how it turned out. The cheese is pretty tasteless and the breadcrumbs are more like dust that just gives a bad texture when eating it. Agree with other reviewers that one tray is definitely not 12 servings, more like 5. I like when sams has healthier options to make my life easier but this was a bit disappointing.

This isn't bad, but it's not great either.

I had high hopes as I like cauliflower and cheese. However, the first thing I noticed upon opening was that it wasn't mixed together very well. I heated it as directed, but it wasn't really warm all the way through. (Wish I'd read the other review that said it was better the second day before I threw the leftovers out.) The cheese could be better quality and there could be more of it (Or maybe it just needs to be mixed in better than it was.) I also think it could use more seasoning, but I suppose that could be added after heating... I think I'd rather try making my own than buy this again.

Healthy Mac and cheese

I bought this to pretend it is a healthier version of Mac and cheese, and it worked. Cut it in half and it provides too dinners/lunches. I am trying to lose some covid pounds, so don't think it'd work or a hungry man. Solves my melted cheese cravings.

Gets my kids to eat vegetables

My kids dislike a lot of vegetables and cauliflower is one of them. It can be difficult to get them to eat vegetables, with this being an exception! Sometimes the toppings have shifted some during handling, but when I open it I redistribute the cheese (or sometimes add more around the edges, where it can be sparse). Bake it per the directions (I usually add 5 min to the first part of baking, then add 5-10 to the uncovered part of the baking). It can have some soggy spots here and there from larger chunks of cauliflower, but overall this is not usually a problem. Good, cheesy veggie dish that my kids actually request!!

Bland & Not Worth Your $!

I picked this up on a whim after seeing many Sam's customers purchasing it and raving about how good it is. I was excited to try it out because I love cauliflower and hoped I could add this into my diet as a way to shift to a flexitarian diet (as well as cutting down on gluten). When I opened the package, it looked unappetizing admittedly but I went ahead and made it knowing it's an alternative. After I made it for myself, upon my first bite I revolted. It was SO bland and tasteless as if someone just threw in boiled cauliflower florets and some sort of cheese and called it a day. I was expecting a bit more flavor for what I paid for. There wasn't enough cheese in my tray to say the least - I had to add my own seasonings and cheese to make it a bit more edible. For the price point, I don't think it's worth it when you're better off getting gluten free pasta or even making your own homemade cauliflower mac and cheese (depending on your dietary and health needs) with a flavor just right which would be cheaper too in the long run. If you're in a hurry or need a "base" to start off with meals I guess this could be an option but I wouldn't recommend this. I wouldn't pick this up again. I'm not sure why this is all the hype when it's tasteless! To each their own - I think it's a hit or miss.
