I received an email from LG indicating there was a problem with my ice maker as reported by LG ThinQ. A repair was scheduled within 2 days. The repair tech diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He returned the next day and installed a new ice maker. I was concerned about the repair being completed as we were leaving town for 4 months. Was more than happy with the ease of scheduling an appointment and the repairs completed in a expeditious manner.

We recently updated our kitchen, and replaced all of the appliances. This is the first refrigerator that we have had with the two doors on top, and the drawers on the bottom. This is a big refrigerator. It sticks out from the wall about 3 inches further than the one it replaced. Keep that in mind. It fits the standard opening though. One thing I wish it had is, a bigger capacity for Ice. The ice bucket in the door isn’t very big.

Purchased this 2 months ago and loving it! The extra door is a great feature for storing quick drinks and frequently used items. We enjoy the slide out drawer for storing cans of pop, meats and cheeses or when entertaining and storing trays of food. The freezer is great and my husband loves the craft ice maker. Would recommend this fridge and freezer!

The shelves on this refrigerator shelves are very narrow. There was another 2 small compartments below the vegetable bins in the wound one that is not in the new one. There is less shelves on the freezer area. I am not very satisfied with this new product. The old one was much more practically useful. The vegetable and fruit dissection had 3 bins in the old one but now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the appliance, for the most part. We recently experienced the Craft Icemaker failure that many customers have experienced. The craft icemaker forms ice bridges between the craft iceballs. This prevents the craft ice from being dropped out of the icemaker and as the icemaker cycles to create more ice, water is dumped into the craft ice container.

We purchased this brand because a competitor we had in a previous home had issues from the ice maker to fan being replaced. Thinking LG would impress us or at least last a few years that didn’t happen. The manufacturer warranty will cover it right now however, come on 7mths…broken…not ok. Very disappointed. Make sure to purchase extended warranty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many things I like about this refrigerator, such as the cavernous bottom freezer, the very convenient door in door, and the control I get from the LG ThinQ app, but it has a pretty significant deficiency, the craft ice maker. The ice maker in the top door dispenser works okay but has a small capacity. That's why the craft ice maker in the freezer is so important. We need to have enough ice to put in an ice chest to go to the beach. However, the craft ice maker only makes 3 or 6 cubes per day based on a setting. At the higher rate of 6 cubes per day it takes over a month to fill the relatively small bin, which is still not enough for a typical outing. We are forced to use ice packs to overcome this deficiency. If you don't need much ice, everything else about the refrigerator is wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator has been great until we hit the 1 year point, when the Freezer stopped working. LG contracted a company to come out to fix, it took 3 trips to fix as all parts did not arrive in time and additional parts were needed. They did fix at no cost. It’s only been a couple days, but working good so far after repair.

Only had it for a month so a review this early is not a value added for an overall review. With that said, The Craft ice make is slow. Only makes 3 - 6 cubes a day. The in door ice maker storage can barely handle a 2 person family. I set up digital and mechanical thermometers in 3 places around the frige and the cooling temperatures vary from 42 degrees to 28 degrees overnight. The door in door feature is excellent. There is very minimal amount of door storage space with the door in door and in door ice cube maker, you can only store very small containers in them. The 4 drawer is excellent for deli storage or you can use it as an extra freezer storage. I use it for deli and the temperature control is very consistent. The freezer is very good with consistent temperature control. Given the poor reviews for reliability on the 2020 models, I took a chance on this model as it does have a lot of overall capacity. Hopefully Consumer reports will be right with there assessment as that is what I used as my basis to purchase this model. Only time will tell.
