The craft ice maker is a plus and one of the reasons we purchased this model. Our craft ice maker has required a couple of service calls and we hope our problems have been resolved because we do so enjoy it!!

I have to stop getting a fridge with an icemaker in the door. I had confidence that LG had figured this out, but our icemaker hasn’t worked from day one. Had the whole icemaker replaced and no good, waiting for appliance repairman to com back tomorrow and see why it still doens’t work. So frustrated. Craft ice works really well and everything else about this fridge is super great, but the icemaker issue is still such a bummer.

First thought the front door (opens without opening the refrigerator) was not very important. We were very wrong...love it now. How about "craft ice?" Again, we thought we would not use it. But, again not only do we use it every day, but it makes our cocktails much better since they don't become watery.

We were really excited to get this new refrigerator. 5 Months later, stopped making Ice. a couple days later, food was not cold. put an internal thermometer in and it read 50 degrees. Outside LED said 36. No error codes or anything. Service tech can and said compressor was failing. Might not have a new compressor for 3-4 weeks. Apparently it's now common. Super disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the layout and the features, especially the craft ice. However the craft ice maker had to be replaced just before the warranty went out, which is at one year. Hoping that this isn’t the standard life span of parts.

We just moved into our new house and it had a small fridge freezer combination but it was too small. Knew we needed a larger one and we shopped around. I spoke to a friend who is an appliance repair guy and he said you need to buy LG. We did and couldn’t be happier.

Most bottles of small condiments don't fit. The drawer that coverts to refrigerator or freezer is a nice touch and adds extra space for the refrigerator. Another feature I like is the door in door it allow for you do access item that you frequently use without opening the whole door.

The lower freezer is very easy to keep organized due to the top shelf and bottom buckets. The round ice is the best. THE BEST. It's funny how a simple glass of water with a single round ice cube can just make your day.

We love the middle drawer for snacks and sodas too! The double ice maker is a great feature. You can make Large Ice Balls for drinks.....my husband loves them and you can make Craft Ice at the same time in the upper ice maker!!! Its Crazy Good ice too!!! We love this feature and all of the room this refrigerator has. Its a GREAT refrigerator!!!
