[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 14-year-old side-by-side fridge with this huge and modern beauty less than a month ago. Although we’re still figuring out the best way to take advantage of all of the amazing features, we are thrilled with the efficient layout. The door-in-door feature keeps us from having to open the big doors for those frequently-used items. The middle drawer is also great for those things we use often. The craft ice is so nice to keep our iced tea really chilly for much longer, and doesn’t dilute as quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is nice, but we already have to have the fridge repaired. We didn’t even have the fridge for 2 days and the compressor is very loud compared to our old LG fridge (the compressor died on that one in 2 years). The compressor for the fridge runs non stop. The earliest I could get a repair company to come out was over 10 days. A&E (an L&G repair company) is coming to repair the fridge tomorrow, but they gave me a window for repair from 8am-5pm. Seriously, how can they not do better at scheduling a 2-3 hour window. The ice maker in the door works much slower than our old refrigerators (this is our 3rd LG fridge in 5 years). It takes about 2 days to fill up the container even in Ice Plus modes. The Craft Ice maker in the bottom freezer barely works. In the past two weeks that we have had the fridge, we have only got about 14 balls of ice. The main reason why we buy LG refrigerators is because of the ice maker in the door. That is a great feature. The fridge is a nice design with the four doors (our old ones were the 3 door models). My one problem with the design is that if you go through a lot of milk like we do, you have to adjust at least one side of the shelving to make room for extra gallons of milk (or any taller items) and the shelves don’t line up. If the top row of shelving could go one or two slots higher, I think I could adjust the shelves to be the same level on both sides and tall enough to put a couple gallons of milk in the shelf. LG makes great products, it just seems that refrigerators are a little bit of a problem. I just hope they can figure out the problem tomorrow as it took over 5 months to get this fridge (after the last one’ compressor failed) and I don’t really want to have to wait that long for another one if this one fails.

We have plenty of room in this refrigerator. It is easy to keep clean. I love having the middle drawer. We put everything from cheese to wine to pies in there. It is great having the freezer on the bottom. It is easy to find food and store items of various sizes. The only problem we have is the craft ice maker. It broke after about 1 year. According to the tech, this is expected. They have revised the ice maker and reinstalled the new one in our freezer. That was 5 days ago and still no ice. On the positive side, LG was quick to send out a tech the first time. Hopefully the tech will come out quickly a second time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge has been installed and running for about a month and it is working beautifully! The craft ice balls are awesome and the temps are holding whee I set them. Extremely happy with the LG fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG model LRMDS3006D and absolutely love it my husband said he likes to better then the Samsun. We purchased the Samsung 4 years ago and have had nothing but problems with with the ice maker. Constantly freezing up and having to thaw it with a heat gun. I was DONE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the layout and the features, especially the craft ice. However the craft ice maker had to be replaced just before the warranty went out, which is at one year. Hoping that this isn’t the standard life span of parts.

I bought this product as a replacement for my last refrigerator that could not be repaired after four attempts. It has worked as expected since I purchased it eleven months ago except for the last two months . Two or three times a day it makes a loud knocking/thumping noise usually just before dropping craft ice. I am going to turn off craft ice to see if this condition continues. This could take up to a week or longer. We love the refrigerator but because this is our second one with issues we would not feel comfortable recommending to family or friends.

We love the new features this model offers and it adds to the overall appearance of our kitchen. We strongly recommend LG to anyone in the market for a refrigerator and this model in particular.

Love the layout and design, especially the door-in-door feature. Would have liked better lighting in the freezer compartment and would have liked much better lighting in the full convert drawer. Love the drawer but lighting barely adequate.
