We bought this fridge in November 2021. The placement of the shelves and the features that allow you to tailor the drawers to your needs is both effective and imaginative. The sheer mass of the unit itself is impressive and meets the needs of my family - for items that need to be stored in a refrigerator, a freezer, or both. The circle ice cube feature is one of my daughter's favorite parts of having this fridge - she enjoys staring at the "circle ice piece" as she drinks her beverage (making hydrating her easy).

And this is a large appliance but the configurations still have some challenges as new owners we are slowly working into our routine. The middle draw is by far the coolest feature allowing you to change it from a freezer to more refrigerator space. We have not had our first party but we are planning and playing with this feature as we cook throughout the month. My biggest drawback is the manual explaining how to connect the WiFi, frankly it sucks. I have worked in IT for nearly 25 years and getting this connected to our home WiFi required using a cellular enabled device and was never able to get it connected to our brand new Orbi system. I managed to download the updates and then I disconnected from our cellular plan. I know this should be easy but the directions are written in reverse polish notation from 1965 like my old TI scientific calculator. The price point and feature are hard to find especially when you love craft ice. With only a month in using this appliance and my extremely busy travel schedule, my good rating maybe miss leading. I have only been home using this device a few weekends at best. I am trying to adjust my craft ice to be full round balls as currently they have a small flat spot on them and I am sure its a minor adjustment. The WiFI thing was again a late night drive by and I did not give it much attention. Still figuring out what goes where in it and where to put things and how to get them. Everything is working and I hope I get more time to enjoy craft ice at the lake house!

Ice maker is quiet and doesn't use up a bunch of interior space. Craft ice is a nice bonus. Couldn't be happier with our decision to go with this refrigerator.

My husband initially wanted it because it makes the craft-ice balls, but now that we have it, I love all the features, from the door in door that opens with a push button instead of inside the handle like many others have, and the middle draw is perfect for fast, to go items! The only negative is the size of the regular ice dispenser in the door, we run out of ice quickly if there is just me and my husband in the house.

It does not make ice fast enough and I have placed it on the highest setting for ice cubes. It is the most frustrating feature. I have a family of 5 so I don't recommend for large families.

They both have/had very nice and convenient features and our first one lasted much longer than we ever expected. The electronics eventually went bad which prompted our new purchase. We would definitely recommend the LG line for performance and dependability.

LG technician came out and said compressor would need to be replaced. This is like purchasing a new car and the engine is bad. Replacement has been scheduled but causes inconvenience in schedule.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my refrigerator. Everything is so easy to access. My only complaint is the air filter is impossible to change. I am 4 feet 11 inches and 80 years old. The chamber to replace the filter is on the top shelf back wall. Who designed that? But I love the drawer where I can keep my most used items for easy access.

I bought this specific refrigerator because it connects to wi-fi and to Alexa. I expected to be able to monitor the fridge and freezer temps remotely, as I am not a full-time resident of that address. The only things done via wi-fi/Alexa are: 1) I can turn on/off the ice-plus feature (unnecessary, since I'm not there), and 2) Alexa and e-mail have informed me that I need to change the filter (can't do that, since I'm not there). So basically, the wi-fi feature is useless. Imagine my dissatisfaction. But, oh boy, I do have a new fridge!
