We are using LG appliances in our kitchen renovation. They each offer an impressive number of features and, so far, all are easy to use. All surfaces and mechanisms are amply protected from damage during shipping, delivery and installation. Very well thought-out from start to finish!

We bought our top end LG refrigerator about a month ago. We immediately had problems with it. The lower freezer drawer was not aligned properly and the seal did not make contact with the body of the unit. We had frost in the freezer and the motor ran constantly. We had a hard time getting warranty work. You just cannot reach A&E repair except for email. You cannot call and talk to a person. I was home the whole day waiting for a repair person, but they texted me to tell me to reschedule. The repair person did come the second time and acknowledged that they are hard to reach. He was surly but did repair the unit. He had a lot of negative things to say about LG. As per the technician, we can expect a lot to go wrong with the unit.

We have had this fridge for around six months. The fridge part is huge and gives us lots of space and the extra French door is a great addition for drinks. The freezer size is a little small but we can utilize the drinks drawer as a freezer if needed.

Having the extra ice in the bottom freezer is a plus along with the ice maker on the door. The controls are also very easy to use. I've only had it for a couple of weeks but so far it is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After we had to get the first fridge replaced due to a cooling problem, we fell in love with this fridge. The door in the door is fabulous. The size is fantastic for the family of 6 we have. The children are happy with the door in a door, it makes it much easier for our 4 year old to get things out of the fridge. Also, the drawer that can convert into a freezer or fridge is fabulous for our cheese and deli snacks for our 4 children!! This fridge has made our lives with a big family that much easier!!

EspeciLly the craft ice and dual ice makers, the split door, oversized thru the door water and ice maker, the lighting, huge capacity and beautiful exterior. EVERYTHING is operating perfectly. Thermostats are dead on and the convert a drawer is outstanding in its ability to be serfs a freezer or refrigerator.

When we started to use it I was a little dissapointed that the temperature showing was the set temperature not what the actual temperature was in the refrigerator was.I thought it was a little odd that it took almost 24 hours to start making ice and 48 hours to start making craft ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator. Read a few mixed reviews but still made the purchase. It looks great in my kitchen. Only downside is it takes a little while to make the craft ice. Other than that it’s pretty awesome.

This was delivered to our home on 12-28-2020. Six weeks later it started to break, it stopped making ice due to the freezer not being cold enough. We called the place we purchased it from and they sent it to LG as it wasn’t even a year old. I kept getting texts saying they were still looking for someone to repair it. That took over two weeks. A nice young man came out and said someone would get back to us when parts came in. Total down time was over 2 months. Everything had to be thrown out. It took two guys all day to replace all parts dealing with cooling, test it and make adjustments. It lasted about a month but this time it was completely down in less than a day. Again everything was thrown out. I’ve called where we purchased it and LG. They want to repair it! What a joke. I don’t even want it in my house anymore. I want my money back to buy one that’s dependable. They are dragging their heels about it and want proof of purchase which was given with the first breakdown! I’m fed up! We are selling our home and can not say it’s a new fridge when it’s broken down twice in less than 6 months. It’s been out of use more than it’s been used n it registers over 70 degrees inside. They are giving me a problem with food replacement too. I’ll never buy another LG product

The fridge itself is nice but we have had to have the craft ice serviced three times in less that 10 months. It jams and doesn’t properly drop the ice. Then it will try to fill the water back up for the ice and over fills into the tray causing more issues. The sound it makes when it jams is startling especially at 3 in the morning. Resetting it does not work.
