Have purchased memory foam mattresses in the past with satisfaction; however, they took at least eight hours or more to expand and there was a smell initially. With this mattress it expanded within five minutes tops and was ready to go. Sleeps really comfortably. My husband and I are both very pleased with this purchase and the price was just fantastic. We are both 60+ Years old if that helps you make any decisions

I received my mattress about three weeks ago. We opened the box and there were no instructions on how to set it up. We looked on YouTube and found a video on what we needed to do. It was simple and took no time to do. I’ve read some reviews that say it took a while for the smell to go away but I had sheets on ours within a couple of hours and was sleeping on it a few hours later. I wanted a firm mattress and had to think a long time about a “bed in a box” with memory foam being firm enough for me. I was very skeptical. This is a very firm mattress and I’m very satisfied with my choice. Overall, This is a great mattress for the money.

All the reviews were great. As I was looking for a firm mattress. One person said they took it back to Sam’s because it was like sleeping on a floor. That’s exactly what I needed to hear. Sam’s delivered it, it better then I thought it would be. If you like it firm buy it.

I wasn't sure what to expect, the reviews on firmness went both ways. So, I'm writing mine just to add to the mix :) Came a little bit later than expected, but it wasn't a surprise since I got it on the one day sale. Which I've noticed the price for that has popped up again on sale, so it isn't just the one day price. Box wasn't wrapped, so it wasn't a secret what was in it. Came perfectly fine, no dents or tears. The mattress itself was wrapped tightly in plastic. Pretty amazing really. It sat in my bedroom for a couple of days since I wanted to open and let it air out overnight and I still had my current mattress to be picked up by my son. Make sure you put the mattress on the foundation you plan to use before you start cutting. This is very important. Old mattress out. I have an antique Queen size bed frame that uses wooden slats as the foundation, plus I have my old box spring. We placed the Serta on the box spring and started to carefully (be very careful) cut the plastic. It is really amazing that this bed is only about 3 inches tall when still in the vacuumed package. Cut diagonally and do it fairly quickly. The bed starts sucking in air and expands to the full Queen size in literally 2 minutes, maybe less. Aaand, you're done. It does say 12" and mine has fully expanded to 11 1 /2" . Close enough for me. First thing I noticed is after coming from a pillow top was how flat it is. Flat, flat. No lumps or comfy spots, just flat. Don't try to do the cute little jump and land on it, it's flat and firm and not a lot of fun. First few nights I was unsure how I felt. It was firm, but after about 15 minutes I stopped noticing it was firm. Weird. It is because of the memory foam, weight and mixed with body heat, it conforms to your body. I've had it now for about a month. I can definitely tell where I sleep and where I do not. The softer side is where I sleep each night. As time goes on, the memory foam softens. It isn't squishy soft or like it is breaking down, but it does that conforming thing much quicker. If I want to lay on the firmer side I crawl over and can tell the difference immediately. I still struggle with pillows. I can't find quite the right match to get me through the night. I hope that you won't have that problem. This is an ongoing struggle. BUT the biggest thing (If you're still reading, you are smart) is that my husband has commented that I have NOT SNORED ONCE since I got this Serta mattress. Why? I don't know, I can't find the right pillow, so I can only say it is the memory foam base. I had a pillow top that cost over $3200 and I snored; but this mattress has made me so comfortable that my neck is not curled in such a way, and I've stopped. A month in...nope, no snoring yet (and I've even got a head cold this week). Another thing I noticed immediately was I often woke with my shoulders in pain like I've shrugged them all night. Seriously, that was gone on the first morning and hasn't come back. Yes it is firm, but it gives after a few minutes to be comfy, and just keeps getting better.

Was cautious about buying online. I read the reviews and took a chance. I did have concerns about if i needed to return it which a customer service rep answered. It arrived on time and my only regret is not getting the kg size. Love it! Extremely pleased.

We are so glad we bought this mattress!! After looking at several different mattresses we decided on the Serta Sleep To Go and are very happy with our decision. It took a couple of nights to get use to the mattress but we've had it about a month now and wouldn't give it up. We both woke up with backaches every morning with our old mattress and now we wake up feeling great!!! Love this mattress;)

Loved my full size mattress so I bought the same one in queen size. This queen is much softer and there is less side support than the full size mattress. It still supports well, it just isn't as firm. Also, it took 34 days and a call to the Serta Pro team to be delivered. Honestly think they forgot my order...

Seems like a quality product. A little stiffer than I'd like, but everybody else in my family says it's perfect. I guess that's better than too soft. There's no topper or other remedy for that problem. Took awhile to get here because of backorders. But it came in good condition. Try to get it on sale if you can wait. But a hundred dollars here or there is not a big deal for something you'll be sleeping on every night.

I have this matress on a zinus memory foam box spring (so it is well supported), but if you put your pillow near the edge at the head of the bed your head and shoulders become lower than the rest of your body. Otherwise I would give this matress 5 stars...i no longer wake up in pain no matter what position i sleep. The matress is really comfortable.

I bought this for my spare bedroom but when I saw that it is wider and longer than the gel foam mattress I have on my own bed I swapped them. It quickly inflated to a full 12 inches and is so far very comfortable. I would say it is medium firm which I like. Will have to wait and see about it's longevity.
