We purchased this mattress as a replacement for our nearly 20 year old Tempurpedic which has serviced us well until 2 years ago. This Serta has no support on the edges causing me to somewhat slide off the bed if I am sitting on the bed to put on my shoes and socks. It DOES sleep cooler than our previous mattress. It DOES NOT transmit movement. It does not have side straps for movement but is light enough for my wife and I (69 and 73 yo) to move it onto the bed. I would say that I expected something a little firmer from Serta. Consumer Reports must have gotten something a little different to rate this mattress a 7 for firmness.

We are 21 days into sleeping on this mattress. Our last mattress needed to be replaced. This memory foam luxury mattress allows you to get out of bed and not have a back ache. My husband feels that is is too firm but he is getting use to it. We are very satisfied with this purchase!

I like a firm mattress but also comfortable. This one has been good thus far. I have some issues with my shoulder and hips. My arm has a tendency to go numb during sleep. Since I have had this mattress I have noticed that I do not have to prop myself up to get my shoulder off mattress. I am not sure if it is a back related or shoulder related issue but I haven't had the problems since I have been sleeping on this mattress. I would say "thumbs up!"

Replaced a older sams club memory foam matress that was 10 years old. This one is firmer. So far still a residual rubber plastic smell from matteess. I think the older one aired out in a couple of weeks, almost at a month with this one and i still notice the smell. I would rate it higher, but the chemical smell is annoying.

We have had this mattress (12" Serta Sleep-to-go) for about 2 weeks. We bought it to replace a very old sagging pillow top spring mattress in our master bedroom. We were not a fan of the pillow top and have liked firmer beds in the past, so the negative reviews did not scare us. I should note that we have a sleep number in our other bedroom and are happy with it, but it's not great for non-sleeping activities, so we were hoping for an alternative. Shipping wise, the bed came on a Monday instead of the previous Friday that was estimated via email, but that didn't bother us. The box it came in was missing a wheel and part of the box was torn, but again that didn't bother us either. It was easy to unroll and unfold and it fluffed up to almost 12" almost immediately after unrolling it (12" on one side, 11 3/4" on the other an hour in). It had a not pleasant off-gassing smell, so we slept elsewhere the first night, turned on the exhaust fan in the connecting bathroom, and tried it the following night. My experience and my husband's experience on the bed were completely different. I am about 36 years old, 5' 8" tall, and 120 lbs and have slept well on any bed my whole life, cheap hotels included. Every night I slept on this bed I had extreme problems falling asleep (took more than 2 hours each night), woke up pretty close to every hour, and woke up sore through my shoulders, neck, and back in the mornings. I stuck it out for more than 10 days trying different pillows, positions (I sleep on my side, back, and occasionally my stomach), and switching sides of the bed with my husband. There was only very minimal improvement if any and I was still waking up frequently through the night and having numbness and soreness in my elbows and knees, which I've never experienced before. I stopped trying when I got a debilitating headache that lasted 8 hours and seemed to stem from the neck/shoulder/back pain and tightness (my first non-migraine headache in over 20 years). Needless to say, we will be returning the bed. My husband is also 36 years old, just over 6' tall, and weighs about 230 lbs. He generally sleeps on his side, and sometimes his stomach or back. He literally has had the best two weeks of sleep in his entire life on this bed. For the 17 years I have known him, he has always had problems sleeping - waking up in the middle of the night, getting up at 5:00 am because he can't get back to sleep, and basically living life in a state of semi-exhaustion. In contrast, on this bed, he has slept like a baby, almost overslept for work at 7:00 am, and says he feels rested and wonderful in the mornings. If we could cut the bed in half, we would. So if you are considering the bed...flip a coin?

Needed a new mattress for the guest room. I knew Serta has great products so I jumped on line to Sam's club. In minutes I found what I needed. Received the mattress in less then a week. Put it on the bed and it was just what we needed. Saved money and Time. You can't beat Serta and Sam's price and service.

I was a little afraid to order a mattress . But I know Sam's has always stood behind what they sell. It's perfect ! I have a bad back and this mattress is like the best I've ever slept on. it's wonderful and very happy I stuck my neck out and bought it. I'd do it again ! Plus it's a great price !

I bought thsi for our son's bed to replace a matress that was a hand me down (20yrs old) He says it it very good to sleep on and likes the firmness but softness that it gives him when sleeping. He says he sleeps in one spot now and doesn't toss and turn. I'm glad he really likes it

I purchased the firm mattress and I will have to say that it is way more firm than I thought it would be for foam, which works for me. I have had it a couple weeks and I have no complaints. It was easy to set up and puffed up almost immediately after removing the plastic. It gives support to my lower back and hips. I don’t wake up with pain to that area anymore

I bought this three weeks ago, delivered to my door. I took it from the box removed the compressed packaging. It fluffed right away ready to sleep on in 2 hours . I got in bed and laid down, and was saying to my self , ok this fees cool, very nice and the next thing i know its morning...too soon, its great
