We bought this bed about a month ago, we didn't want to spend 1500 dollars again on a mattress set,since you can't flip most mattresses any more! The more exspensive need was definitely more comfortable , but for a third of the price, this one will work, for now ! Getting it shipped in a box was definitely awesome though!

I was a little afraid to order a mattress . But I know Sam's has always stood behind what they sell. It's perfect ! I have a bad back and this mattress is like the best I've ever slept on. it's wonderful and very happy I stuck my neck out and bought it. I'd do it again ! Plus it's a great price !

I purchased this for my 80+ age parents and had it shipped directly to them. Easy set up for them since they just had to open the box and let it expand overnight. My Mom said it keeps her cooler at night and my Dad sleeps all night. He used to wake up and move to his recliner! It was "different" from their pillow top mattress and took a couple nights to get used to since this is a gel memory foam, so doesn't have that "pillow" feeling, but after a couple of nights, they enjoy the support and comfort of the gel. At $499, this saved my parents a lot of money too. They were thinking they were going to have to spend over $1000 for this kind of comfort!

Usually there is a break in period for a mattress. This mattress was very comfortable from the first night. The only problem was the delivery aspect. Even though free delivery was offered, due to mess ups with Fed Ex, I had to pick it up myself from the Fed Ex facility.

We were looking for a mattress and did a lot of research and used CR. This was one of the top 25 in CR. Ordered online (queen). Mattress was shipped out same day. It arrived two days later. Was in a large box that weighed 70+ lbs. I noticed the box had a sticker on it that stated "serta e-commerce queen"? and no packing list on box or inside.....so before I decided to remove from shrink wrap I called the 1-800# for Sams/Serta. No one really new if this was the mattress I ordered so Sam's re-ordered another one and had this one picked up from my doorstep next day. All went well with second order. 2nd mattress arrived in a couple of days but this one also had queen e-commerce sticker on it along with no packing slip. I decided to open this one up and see what happened. It "inflated quickly and reached 12 inches within an hour. No chemical smell either. We woke up next morning without lower back pain. Been great ever since. We don't wake up hot either but we also keep our bedroom at 65-67 degrees! Would highly recommend this mattress for those with lower back issues. The mattress is not rock hard but not soft either. If you are looking for a plush soft mattress this is not a good choice. You can't go wrong either with Sam's customer service. They were awesome! Only negative/suggestion is Sams/Serta get the "e-commerce queen" thing figured out or make sure there is a packing slip attached to box or inside....... so they can eliminate unnecessary shipping/return costs to a minimum.

Sleeping much better! Have had a tempurpedic and it was too hard. went to regular firm mattress and slept better but still woke up every morning hurting (have back issues). I sleep much better and don't hurt every morning! (I'm a back and side sleeper.)

We purchased this mattress as a replacement for our nearly 20 year old Tempurpedic which has serviced us well until 2 years ago. This Serta has no support on the edges causing me to somewhat slide off the bed if I am sitting on the bed to put on my shoes and socks. It DOES sleep cooler than our previous mattress. It DOES NOT transmit movement. It does not have side straps for movement but is light enough for my wife and I (69 and 73 yo) to move it onto the bed. I would say that I expected something a little firmer from Serta. Consumer Reports must have gotten something a little different to rate this mattress a 7 for firmness.

VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS HERE!!! We recently bought an RV and the mattress that came with it was hard as a rock, and so uncomfortable. After researching mattresses we decided on this one, and we couldn't be happier. My wife used to wake me up with all the tossing and turning all night like she's in a kickboxing match, but now I don't feel a thing. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I have this matress on a zinus memory foam box spring (so it is well supported), but if you put your pillow near the edge at the head of the bed your head and shoulders become lower than the rest of your body. Otherwise I would give this matress 5 stars...i no longer wake up in pain no matter what position i sleep. The matress is really comfortable.

I owned the exact same mattress for 6 years and it was time to replace. This was advertised as a FIRM and came in a generic box with no markings. there were no "details", warranty, or instructions included to verify the model and firmness, which is odd for a Serta brand mattress and concerning for me. That said, the mattress quickly took on the shape and depth and had zero smell. It just doesn't feel as firm as the previous one I purchased from Sam's 6 years ago.
