My friends told me to get a garmin and that it would make me more active, it did. I have never been more motivated to actually get up and do something, not to mention the 14 days of battery life and the fact that it is water resistant, garmin has impressed me with their software, their hardware and overall their product. I will definitely be a loyal customer.

Bought this after doing a good bit of research as I was in need of once again replacing my Apple Watch so after doing some deep diving I figured the vivoactive 5 would be a great introduction to the Garmin ecosystem. Three weeks in and I’m upset I didn’t do this sooner. Much more in depth then the Apple Watch and I’m still learning all the things Garmin is capable of. Love it so far

Bought this watch about a month ago. It replaces a prior Vivoactive that I've been using for several years. This new one seems snappier, more responsive. I like the "sleep score" that I see each morning. I haven't figured out all the features yet, but I am glad I stuck with this Garmin model to replace its predecessor.

I made the transition from Apple Watches for the longer battery life. I have followed all the online forums and videos for getting longer battery life, but none are helping. The battery lasts 3-4 days with almost everything turned off and a basic watch face with no color. It lasts no where near 11 days.

I had a VivoSmart 4S and was given this new VivoSmart 5 for Christmas. It took me a few days to configure it to my liking and getting a watch face I like. Since then I have appreciated the 'Morning Report' to start my day. Love the longer lasting battery that lasts me about 10 days vs 5 for my previous ViviSmart 4S. Not too fond of the new look of the Connect App, but now I just look at the areas of interest. Overall, I am a very satisfied user.

Wife got it for me for Christmas and so far I love it. Battery life is excellent and features are great. Previously owned A Viviactive 3 which still works from 2017 purchase. It was difficult to change faces of late. Battery last much longer than Apple Watch and cost less but works just as good.

I love this watch! It really is helping me on my fitness and strengthening journey. I am disabled, and this helps me stay on track and build my strength without injuring myself. It helps keep me motivated, and I love being able to see my progress. Thank you, Garmin! :) :)

Where is the serial number? After I'm done running and press the A button to stop and save my data, it doesn't recognize that I pressed the button. How do I fix it? Also, it takes a long time to get the GPS signal. My very old Vivo watch was much faster. How do I fix it?

As a prior Fitbit owner, I switched to Garmin, as I was tired of replacing Fitbit devices annually, and I believe Google will eliminate them and move people to their watch. I am looking to Garmin to fill my tracking needs, eliminate constant replacements, and provide more data. At this point, they have exceeded my expectations. They provide more information and add more features. It is double the price, but having to replace a Fitbit every year, this Garmin tracker has to make it two years, and I am ahead.

Fitness stats very interesting. Body battery, etc. Auto sleep tracking misses first 1 - 3 hours of sleep. I do wake up frequently. I had used a Fitbit Versa 2 whose auto sleep tracking also missed sleep, but let me enter sleep start time and wake up time. Display is great. Lots of on watch stats. Great battery life. 10 days.
