Upgraded from my Fitbit Luxe (which I adored - I wanted something with text/call features as well) to the Garmin Vivoactive5. It is a really nice watch, very comfortable, and perfect for what I need, which is holding myself accountable for being more active. As someone who hates bulky watches or other accessories on my wrist, this watch is definitely a great choice for me.

I've owned both a Fitbit and an Apple Watch, and I honestly prefer my Garmin Vivoactive over both! It tracks so much more of my activity, workouts, steps, sleep, heart rate, and overall health metrics. I especially love how much information it gives me without feeling overwhelming. The battery life is also a huge plus compared to my Apple Watch. I've been really impressed with how accurate and useful the tracking is, and I feel like I'm getting much more out of my watch. Definitely one of my favorite fitness watches I've owned!

Absolutely love this watch! I used to be a diehard Apple Watch person but decided to give this a go as I didn't really want all my phone notifications on my watch anymore(you can still view them on Garmin, I just hid mine). The fitness tracking seems to be pretty close to accurate including heart rate. I took my blood pressure at home which includes heart rate and they were always within a few numbers of each other. I also really like the body battery it has and how it combines with the sleep tracking and the insights it'll provide on what could be impacting you. Battery life is also great and charges super fast!

Ive really enjoyed using this watch. It has taken time to get used to all its settings and get things how I want but I would definitely buy it again. Battery life is great

I love my watch, I love the color and it works just as good as a Samsung or Google watch without the expensive prices. I have health certain health issues and it helps me to keep up with my values and most of my other medical devices can connect to it to keep track of the numbers.

Garmin is priced like a premium item because it is a premium item. After trying lower priced options over the years, with a constant stream of disappointment, this watch not only has all the necessary features but easily interface with my health tracker and other apps.

Hopefully I can get it resolved but I just bought this a week ago and the battery life is terrible, I don’t have any of the extra settings on it. I turned off all the settings recommended to increase life and I’m still having to charge it daily. Besides that I love it.

I've owned the watch for not even 3 months and I've had so many issues with the heart rate monitor. Multiple times the watch has had an update and wouldn't turn back on for at least a day. I've read such good things about this watch and maybe I got a fluke but very disappointed in the quality from a technology standpoint.

After 2 weeks watch band broke, after 3 weeks battery went from 100% to 0 in 12 hours. Garmin is really hard to get through to and then they are not helpful.

heart rate is highly inaccurate. that's why I bought the watch. pulse ox measuring 120bpm, meanwhile garmin saying I'm at 80 bpm. that's unacceptable. too late to return. too light to be a paper weight.
