This is a great fitness tracker. Keeps me interested in exercising and provides the challenges that I need. The fact it says good morning is cute. I also love the color.

I absolutely love it! I went from having an Apple Watch that the battery didn’t last past 8hrs to this. I am a very active person and never took it off not even to sleep and the battery lasts 6 days! If you’re thinking about it do it! If you have an Apple Watch it’s definitely a learning curve to learn how to track workouts and sleep but it’s worth every penny.

I bought this to replace my much loved (but no longer working) Vivoactive 4. It’s a lot easier to read! It also has new functions like the weather report that I’m using a lot. I’m using the strength and yoga tracking now, as well as the running function that I bought it for. I’m enjoying it so much I bought a Garmin scale to keep track of my progress. The only negative I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t calculate stairs like the Vivoactive 4 did, but that’s not a big deal for me.

I have been using Garmin watches for years for general gym use and active jobs. I really like the app and pack of a monthly subscription. Unfortunately something is wrong with the garmin vivoactive 5 line. I have gone through 1 brand new one where the bezel separated from the base and screen popped out. I purchased a recertified one and the screen has gone completely black in just 5 months. My vivoactive 4 lasted over 2 years. That's why I went to the 5. But now I feel dumb. The watch screens are not lasting.

There is nothing new about my Vivoactive 5smartwatch. Except that when my husband got a more advanced smartwatch, mine chose to not track sleep, then to not be connected to the Garmin app on my phone at all and stop counting steps as well. "Connecting" my husband's new watch seemed - over time - to disconnect mine! He turned his watch off and reconnected mine and it seems to be responding again.

This is my second vivoactive 5 in 4 months. Due to the fact that the charging port on the watch struggles to stay connected to the cord it's been the most frustrating purchase I've had with Garmin. I've come to trust the reliability of the product overall. But this model is terrible when it comes to the connector for charging.

It was a gift in March and not terrifically pleased. Needs to be recharged about every 2 to 3 days. I previously had a Vivoactive 4, which lasted o ly2 yearsvand would not charge at all. Viviactive 5 does not and an altimeter, which was a feature I really liked on my 4 especially when hiking. The 5 was a gift, so not much recourse to return, once I discovered the lack of feature I liked. I'll only give it 3 stars.

works ok. tracks steps well enough as well as the heart rate. Few improvements needed. 1. move all the set up and preferences to the app. a lot of items like watch face and other things must be done via watch face, which is difficult. 2. if Im awake in the night, even up and about excerting myself the watch counts that as REM sleep. so not accurate there. 3. Allow user to build in a work out routine from the app, or even laptop. the watch face is very limited. all that said, not bad for $200. but would be great at $50.

I bought it to replace my aging Fitbit only to find that it didn't have the functionality I was seeking. I'm 68 and active. I wanted a device that would track my 4 mile walks, it doesn't. My Fitbit did including; average-max-min heart rate, miles traveled in hundredths, total & per mile time, steps and calories burned, and more. Update- I jumped the gun. Sometimes we get these surveys a little too quickly, but I'm the one to blame for not fully learning the functionality of my Garmin watch. It does everything I want to and is my new favorite workout watch. I give five stars.

I’ve owned the watch for not even 3 months and I’ve had so many issues with the heart rate monitor. Multiple times the watch has had an update and wouldn’t turn back on for at least a day. I’ve read such good things about this watch and maybe I got a fluke but very disappointed in the quality from a technology standpoint.
