Easy to set up & use

I have had a Vivofit 4 for many years. The Vivoactive 5 is a major step up. The sleep data is in more depth, and you can overlay respiration and pulse. All the activities I do are included and easy to access. The only issue so far, I cannot adjust the pool length to 10 yards which is our community pool.

Great watch

I bought this watch about a month ago. I switched from an Apple Watch and I love the watch. If you are athletic or are prioritizing a fitness watch over smart watch then this watch is for you. Pro: sleep tracks, very accurate for running and cardio activities with stats tracking which is great. Cons: can’t reply to messages or make phone calls. Strength training activity isn’t as accurate as I would like.

From Apple to Garmin

I’ve been using this for almost a month and no complaints here! Love the look (round face) over my previous watch for sure. Main reason for switching was for tracking my workouts plus more. Does everything my previous watch did and price point is definitely better. In love and won’t go back!!

Like some features, not others.

This was an upgrade from my Vivoactive 3 which still works but was getting buggy. There are things I like about the new watch and things that I wish worked better. Pros: the metal cup for the strap release bar is gone, love sleep mode, charger plug is less loose, gives body battery and better sleep analysis. Annoyances: doesn't count my stairs when I go up and down the staircases at home, reminds me my sleep is non-restorative and my body battery is low, no always on with no backlight function

vívoactive® 5

Ilove this watch, I can wear it for 5 days without charging it. I have not needed to reduce the notifications, texts msgs, phone calls, email and social media apps work well. I don't listen to music on this watch. It tracks very well for walking and various exercises. I highly recommend this wat h.

Love this watch

I recently had to replace my Vivoactive 3, and decided on the Vivoactive 5. It has so many added features that my forner watch did not have that are very useful. I am though a bit put off that an update has removed a battery setting that I loved. Hopefully it will be replaced in the near future!

Great overall watch

It's a good upgrade from the vivoactive 4s. Battery is better (lasts 7 days), the screen looks brighter, you can actually text on here, see images in your notifications, and it gives lots of detailed info on sleep, body battery, and suggestions for exercise based on how stressful your day has been.

Better than fitbit

Though shipping was far slower than I would have liked, the product is better than what I was using. I had used Fitbits for years, but was becoming disenchanted with the app and the battery life. This Garmin has all the perks that I was used to and then some. I love the vibrating alarm for waking up in the morning, it's a gentle nudge. Also scratch-resistant, which I greatly appreciate. The battery life is wonderful.

It's ok.

I've oowned the Vivoactive 3 & 4 and really liked them, especially the Vivoactive 4. I am a 76 year old female, very active, walking 15K to 20K steps every day. The problem I have with the Vivoactive 5 is the font size of the information.. Even set at the largest font size it's barely readable with my 76 year old eyes without using glasses. The Vivoactive 3 & 4 had individual readouts for steps, floors, heartbeat, etc. and was very easy to read without reading glasses. Also the Vivoactive 4 had "Floors" which I always used with the steps and I averaged 15+ floors everyday (I live in a mountain area). But, bottom line, the Vivoactive 5 is usable and is loaded with features I care nothing about with a readout that's marginal in font size but, it tracks steps well.

Great watch for tracking and usability

Bought this for my wife's birthday as a gift and she loves it! The tracking and apps to customize is just what she was looking for. I have the VivoActive4 and the updates to the 5 are great enhancements. Definitely a good all around watch and tracker.
