The change from side my side older machines is a big adjustment. The old dryer had a door that would fold down allowing clothes to rest there as you gathered them from the dryer. With these machines, you have to be careful that things do not fall on the floor. Other than that adjustment, they work very well, take up much less space. I really like to operational pieces in the middle instead of at the top of the machines like other stackables. This single unit is the best way to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our washer and dryer was previously in the garage under the house - I’d have to go outside and down the stairs in the rain, dark, and cold just to do the laundry. But the LG Laundry Center all-in-one full size washer/dryer fits perfectly in a closet up in the house! Just had to run the water lines, drain pipe, dryer wiring and dryer vent from the garage up to the main floor of the house and - Voila! We have a great brand new laundry center in the house! It runs quietly and cleans the clothes very well. Dryer is very quick even on a lower heat setting for delicate clothes. Love my new LG Laundry Center - hope it lasts for many years!

I got the tower so that I could have a little extra space when I had the back bathroom and laundry area remodeled. It is a great washer. The only thing that bothers me is that a regular cycle takes so long and speed wash option is not very good. And I don't have a soak cycle, what happened to that option? The dryer is great.

This machine is complicated. It works best if you read your manual thoroughly. There are several important but fairly simple cleaning requirements to keep lint and water out of harming the machine. I highly recommend buying a warranty that goes beyond the basic warranty.

Washer Sensor issue - have not had it for a year. Error message is U5. Machine stops and clothes are soaked. What do we do? The clothing is distributed evenly and machine is balanced. Very frustrating. Also is there a rinse only mode? When this would happen with old unit - we would put on rinse only and issue went away. Help!!!!! Our old LG unit lasted 16 years!

I feel like I made a big mistake. You can't wash anything bulk in the machine because it gets too heavy. I now have to haul my throw rugs and blankets to a laundromat to wash. The cycles do not allow for adjustment of some settings and there aren't enough cycles. It's also not as quiet as it was promised to be. over all I'm very disappointed.

Bought this a month ago and so happy that I did. The main reason I chose this washer/dryer is because of the center control panel. Had a stackable where I had to use a step stool to control the dryer. I love the center control panel. Thank you LG
