The dryer is equally as good, temperature control is easy to set and also plays a tune when complete. I chose the white for overall appearance. The hook up was easy and quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit looks sleek and modern. I love the lighted drums, the cycle finish tunes, and the easy to reach control panel. It is quiet, both washing and drying. However there is quite a learning curve for me and my laundry routines to accommodate the Washtower operation. This unit was a replacement for front loading pair vintage 2004. In most cases my laundry was 2 cycles and 2 temperature combinations for settings for both wash and dry. Now I pine for the simplicity of my "old fashioned" machines and find the features that are supposed to be helpful are not. For example, the most frustrating part of this unit is the inability to fully program loads to get the combinations of washing and drying temperatures. From the fabric care tags (which I follow diligently) most wash loads are warm or cold wash in normal or delicate cycle and drying on low heat. Washing can usually be accomplished by selecting some garment category which may or may not exactly describe what is being washed. Drying however is a much bigger problem. The only way I can get a low temperature dry is to use a delicate cycle and adjust from there to get the clothes dry. Often parts of a load require 2-3 trips to get dry (particularly waistbands and thick ply construction around pockets). I felt I could overcome this with the ability to create my own settings on a downloadable program, but as yet I have yet to be able to find how to do this, even with the Thinq app and wifi connection. Descriptions of the feature abound but I have yet to find actual instructions to accomplish this. The larger openings make getting clothes in and out easy, however the large door swing has made my laundry room setup much less convenient than before and I'm contemplating having to have the space revamped to provide easier access. I'm trying really hard not to be an "old dog" and learn some new tricks, but often I pine for my familiar, functional 15+ year old set. My recommendation of this product would come with the caveats explained above.

Our laundry room is small and on the second level with our bedrooms. Runs pretty quietly and is very stable. We chose the white as I thought it would remain the cleanest and without scratches. I did not have wi-if hooked up to run it off of my phone.

This is my second LG washer/dryer. Soon after we purchase the first set, we moved and the buyers wanted it in the deal. Then we moved from Maine to Florida and moved 5 times. None of the homes had LG. Finally, we moved here to Moore Haven with a really bad, mismatched set. Finally the dryer died, best day ever. I insisted we replace it with my beloved LG set. Life is Good Again...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new sleek design is the perfect pair, 2-in-1 combo I love that it's manufactured as already stacked piece and that the controls for both functions of Washer & Dryer are in the middle making it easier for the people who would normally need a step ladder to reach. As a property manager, this is the best upgrade of modern luxury I can give my tenants. My only dislike was the cord for the dryer was all the way at the top instead of in the middle making it a little difficult to install in a tight space. but I'll still give it 5 stars

I purchased this product because I love a front load machine and I have very limited space so this ThinQ was perfect. I am very disappointed that within 13 months we had the. Imputed go out. I had a white Westinghouse front loader for over 20 years.

I purchased this unit approximately one month ago and although I have not yet used all the features I love it. My clothes smell fresher than they ever have. The central location of both the washer and dryer is excellent and allows you to see what settings your using without a step stool. Both the washer and dryer are extremely quiet and the only real sound you hear is the actual movement of the clothes. I look forward to using the additional features like steam in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A remarkable product with sleek design and easy operation. It is somehow confounding that of all the cycles available, there is no permanent press. That is only accessible by downloading the LGThinQ app to a smartphone. And that itself is not easy. Truly puzzling when one realizes that most of today's laundry for clothing is permanent press. There also is no handwash cycle, but the delicate cycle can accomplish this task. Except for the permanent press omission, I am totally in love with the results this machine gives, both washer and dryer. VERY happy I bought this model!
