Luckily we only needed this portable ac unit for a week while we waited for a new ac unit for the house, but it worked perfectly. We used it in our master bedroom and vented it out the doggie door. The size was big for the room but least we were cool while sleeping.

Works well, does what it says. We've had it less than a month. Put it in sons room on 3rd floor that faces full sun all day, later over 100 degree heat index. Works great so far, I have a separate small temperature gauge on his dresser and he sleeps well and safely, not too hot for someone so young. Room is around 350 sq ft, 10 ft ceiling, three large windows.

I bought this for my 500 sf garage because I have my gym set up in there. It does a good job of keeping it cool when set at 75 or 76 degrees F. It's not extremely loud, less than the last window unit A/C I had (many years ago). I would give it 5 stars, but the exhaust piece that fits in the window isn't engineered as well as it could be for a good fit. I just used some tape. The little strip they give you doesn't do that much. Still, it was a good buy and has worked for about 1 month.

We bought this unit to cool our open concept first floor in conjunction with another similar unit. There is 1,000 sq ft on this floor and this unit cools more than it's share with the other unit. We've had this unit for a couple of the hottest weeks this summer and it seems to hold up well. We will see how it is the next few years.

Says it effectively cools up to 700sf. I'd say that's accurate. Our house is wicked insulated, so we use it to cool the entire downstairs. It effectively removes humidity and leaves the downstairs comfortable. Cycles on and off too. Nice unit. Quiet, yet powerful. Love the different settings for when we just want the fan and not the air conditioning.

I have this in the first floor of a huge 100 year old house with very little insulation. It cools most of the first floor

It worked beat at night but during the day it didn't work great unless you were directly in front of it.

It didn't get a 470sq ft room as cool as the air conditioner that I already had. My first air conditioner is 12000 BTU's.

Bought one it was broken. Returned it. Bought another it was broken the exact same way. Manufacturer flagged them from Sam's.
