I could no longer deal with the heat of this summer so I decided to give this unit a try. It is providing an indoor temperature drop of 10 degrees even though I'm not following guidelines for optimal cooling like closing off adjacent rooms. It's very quiet, even at the highest setting. I'm pleased with the purchase and feel it was money well spent.

I purchased this unit for our 675 sq. ft. detached garage so my husband would be able to continue his work when it's really hot outside. It's working great for our purposes. I didn't expect it to make it cold in there, as it's in full-sun all day and only the roof is insulated, but I was hoping it would keep him comfortable enough to continue working without worrying about him getting sick from the heat. It's doing a really great job! At over 90 degrees outside on a sunny day, it has kept him comfortable to where he isn't sweating, and tgat isn't running it on high setting. We are very happy with it.

This is their newest model. A lot quieter and sleeker looking. Cools faster too. Had the last one for about 10 years before the fan/bearing went. Does not pay to repair these units. Supposed to come with a cover for winter storage as it said on the box. It was not incluced. Wrote to the company and they sent one within week.

I bought this just before a mid 90 degree heat wave was about to hit our area in order to keep our approx 600 sg ft dog kennel cool. It worked well and kept the area at a comfortable temperature. This is so much easier to set up and use than a window mount that I would consider purchasing another portable unit rather than a window mount any day. Just remember that the portable unit does need to drain. I my case I could set it up over a floor drain , so it was easy to deal with. The down side, if you are not so lucky as to have a drain nearby, is that you may have to run a hose, use a shallow drain pan or periodically empty the unit.

I have a 1500 sq foot shop with 16 ft ceilings and it's amazing how well it will keep the shop at 70 degrees even on a 90 degree day outside. This unit is designed for a normal 700 sq foot area but performs at a much higher level in my opinion.

It is portable and does cool my bedroom, but I had to buy extra insulation around the window since the window didn't shut evenly. The lowest temp is 68 degrees. My room is about 700 feet and has a bathroom attached, but it doesn't completely cool the bathroom since it's not blowing directly into it. Be careful when you move the unit that the tubing occasionally comes out of the window.

We bought this for a 600 SQFT garage very well insulated. Its good for about 20-25 degree drop and I would estimate the capacity is closer to 450 SQFT for temps in the 70s when its 100 outside.

After we got the window ready to vent the A/C unit, which took some time to make it air tight. We plugged the unit in and it didn't work. We called Delongi customer service. After speaking with them it was decided that I need a new unit. I was instructed to cut the cord and send a picture so a new unit could be delivered. That was 11 days ago. I'm not sure how the actual unit works at this point. I'm just very disappointed with the setup and slow replacement.

Not for a 450 sq.ft. Fully insulated metal shop with 14' ceiling in Central Oklahoma. At 78* setting, shop went from 88* and 3 hrs later it was 92*. Returned to Sam's club.

Received the air conditioner set it up and waited 24 hours before using. It was located in a 12 x 12 room and after 2 hours had not cooled the room down a single degree it was obviously a faulty unit
