We've only had this about 5 days now, and love it! The hose did well for us. It is easy to twist and get in the unit (we also bought the smaller white one of the same name brand and it was awful and completely different- so maybe reviewers are confusing the two??) This has kept our living room/kitchen/dining areas cool. It is quiet and no pinging noise!! I would love one made like this except smaller in all our rooms.

Not listed and have to look at manufacture website. Sams hides low DOE SACC ratings? Leaks air and hot hose.

Only problem I've had is that it shuts off due to filling up with water fairly often and has to be drained.

Works just fine. Hose is the same as all these portable units have. Window frame piece is a huge improvement over older models.

I got one of these to supplement a 500sq ft DeLonghi I use in 1 of 2 rooms in a bonus space. I compared the 2 for several days and ended up returning this item because the older, lower model did an overall better job of cooling the space.

The unit didn't last twelve hour as, the compressor was cycling every five minutes and not cooling the room. It will be returned and replaced with a window unit from another store.

My window AC was so loud we had to turn the volume up on our TV. This portable AC was so much quiter and cooled off our living room nicely. Going back to purchase another one for our bedroom
