DeLonghi Pinguino 700 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner

The unit is quiet and works well. It doesn't seem to be as cold as the older model it replaced but it is a fine unit.

Works Well

Easy to setup . Adapter for wall connection used at the output of the unit in order to fit hose adapter.

Cool Machine

Very good for the money, get one at the end of the season and save lot's of money.  Bought 2 and very happy with them and their customer service.

Great Value

This was gift to sister, only complain was blowing air up ceiling, hopefully just needs find if any louvres!

Great unit have two one that is 12years old that is still running but getting noisy so time to retire

I like these units better than window units much

works wonderfully. Remote is convenient when your wanting adjustments while in bed. Doesn't cool lower than 66*.

Nice Unit

Excellent cooling in a big ol' house! Every thing that is promised delivers-we didn't change the hose, it fits with our available window.

Superior value

Beside the fact that the exhaust hose and panels are flimsy and incomplete, the system is also terribly loud. Will be returning it.

Great Air

After we got the window ready to vent the A/C unit, which took some time to make it air tight. We plugged the unit in and it didn't work. We called Delongi customer service. After speaking with them it was decided that I need a new unit. I was instructed to cut the cord and send a picture so a new unit could be delivered. That was 11 days ago. I'm not sure how the actual unit works at this point. I'm just very disappointed with the setup and slow replacement.

Disappointed with setup & replacement

I bought this just before a mid 90 degree heat wave was about to hit our area in order to keep our  approx 600 sg ft dog kennel cool. It worked well and kept the area at a comfortable temperature. This is so much easier to set up and use than a window mount that I would consider purchasing another portable unit rather than a window mount any day. Just remember that the portable unit does need to drain. I my case I could set it up over a floor drain , so it was easy to deal with. The down side, if you are not so lucky as to have a drain  nearby, is that you may have to run a hose,  use a shallow drain pan or periodically empty the unit.
