We bought this unit to help our old central air unit during this Texas heat wave and it does help take some of the pressure off of it. It is a little loud, that is why I only gave it a 4 star rating.

The Delonghi Pinguino portable ac works pretty good for cooling my garage to a bearable temperature in the South Texas heat. It'll knock about 10-15 degrees off and considerably lowers the humidity.

this product seems to be performing well, less noisy than our window AC. Hope it last as long as a window air conditioner. Haven't received our electric bill yet to see how it compares.

My second DeLonghi. I use it to keep my garage studio climate controlled. This one is terrific with its new features and auto temperature and air adjustments. It also runs more quietly.

Very nice features! This is our third DeLonghi. Great brand. Everything is controlled easily from the remote. It maintains our last timer setting which is typically the common time utilized. Love it!

I bought this when my mini-split unit was not working and I had to have something till the repairman could get here. This unit was easy to set up and it did the job. Not quite as cool as the regular unit, but I was still happy with it.

We purchased this unit for our cabin which is approx 960 sq ft. The unit works well to take humidity out and cool to around 75 when it is in the upper 80s/low 90s. It was easy to install.

I've owned 4 Delonghi Portable AC Units in the last 15 years and each one was amazing at cooling our home. Externally they are easy to clean, and after the warranty expired I cracked them open myself to clean the inside and after 12 years they need it. Delonghi makes great AC units and I was proud to purchase this new unit. Very sleek, thinner then previous modes, love the way the hose attached with this one, the older ones I had to use tape to keep them on. Don't let some of the negative reviews stop you from purchasing, like I said 15 years and we finally had to say goodbye to one of our Delonghi's. Best Portable AC on the market in my humble opinion.

I bought this and when we got home was it showed a “PF” error code. When I looked to trouble shoot it said contact manufacturer. So I had to wait until today because they are open Monday-Friday. The person I talked to asked me what our humidity level is and stated if humidity is under 25% it doesn't work. They have had a lot of complaints. So now I have to lug this back to Sam's club to get my money back!
