Not quite at all

Taking this back. The unit makes a horrible buzzing sound when the compressor turns on. I'm not sure if we received a defective unit or if this is normal.

Didn't work for me

Nice machine but was unable to cool my 650sf enclosed lanai. Lanai gets very hot in the summer, 90 degrees. Air conditioner brought temp. down only a couple of degrees running it all day.

Really cools off the room!

I am more than happy with my new cooler! It works so much better than the conventional window unit I replaced and really keeps a good flow of air throughout my bedroom!

slippery btu claims

nice unit , but i wish i had bought a portable ac unit with double hoses , as i would have a unit that was a true 14,000 btu unit. single hose creates a vacuum and draws warm air into your home, so you get just over half the btu's listed.

Just what I needed

We needed an ac unit quickly. We don't have ac and we were expecting a solid week of 90 plus temperatures. This unit cooled about 500 sq ft in my house (we do not have an open floor plan). Not too loud. It kept us comfortable!

Perfect for my needs

I bought a DeLonghi 14000btu portable air conditioner. It arrived just in time and works perfectly. My main level is 983 sq ft, it's only supposed to cool 700 sq ft. It cools my entire main level.

Good Portable!

The air conditioner works great however I did not give it 4 stars because I do not think it really cover 700 SF, but it does put out some very cold air.

Broke in Two weeks

I've only had it two weeks and it's already thrown a code PF and it doesn't work. I'm taking it back. You spend $500 plus on something you expect to get more use out of it than two weeks.

Great investment!

I bought this a few weeks ago to cool down a large and open living room/kitchen/dining room area of the house and it does an amazing job! Not an eye sore, quiet, and effective.
