We bought two of these online a couple of weeks and just received these and so disappointed! So we opened to see if shelves were damaged. And of course most of the corners of the shelves were dented and coule corners were completely broke off. There aren't even six decent shelves that we could use to put one shelf unit together! We will be returning these and hopefully they have more ore we would like our money back!

the shelf need to stack up two shelves. first, it not easy to assembly the shelf by one person. The shelf fall apart easily. The beam are not locked. Second Itt is tough to stack up the shelf. Poor design! Please provide video to show how to assembly.

I bought 4 units of these storage shelves for my garage and was very disappointed. I found it to be poorly designed and very flimsy. It took me the most part of one day to just put 1 unit together, mostly because I was working by myself and it kept falling apart.

They're a nightmare to put together because the connections keep coming loose whenever you move the thing. They come loose even after it's fully built! Just moving the shelves a little makes them come loose. The second set of shelves that goes on top just sits on top of the first set without any strong bracket to keep them there, which leads me to believe they can easily bend and injure me. The vertical supports bend easily. Nothing about it gives me the confidence that it can hold more than maybe 100 pounds each shelf max.

I have bought similar shelves to this over the last 10 years from Sams. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of my most recent purchase of this item. It took me an excessive amount of time to assemble this unit due to the fact that the rivets will not seat into the grooves and they keep popping out even after getting multiple layers in place. It appears that you can still get the better quality shelves, but they are only offered online. I thought they were still carrying the good quality in store. Spend the extra money and get the muscle rack!

I assumed this was comparable to a Muscle Rack at a great price. Got it home, and disappointed it is not nearly as beefy. The cross bars actually fold over a bit as we slide boxes onto the shelves. If we were storing heavier things, I would go through the trouble of returning it.

I'm giving 3 stars because the shelves are sturdy, attractive and go together easily. I'm deducted 2 stars because of the corners cut to save a couple pennies in boxing these heavy shelves. The box is 48" long x 18" wide and had 3 heavy 1" plastic straps around the width. They worked great. The bottoms, however, are 2 pieces of med weight cardboard folded over and stapled closed. UPS did a wonderful job keeping the damage to a minimum but w/out reinforcements these boxes are doomed to fail. Great shelves but my advice is pick them up in person. 3 people make assembly a breeze. Put 48" section together and add a couple shelves for stability. Put 36" section together and add top shelf. Set top on bottom with one person on each end. 3rd person adds middle shelf supports and taps them in place with a rubber hammer.

I bought two of these because of satisfactory prior experience. Unfortunately, the new version is of thinner metal, and as a consequence is shaky and somewhat dangerous to assemble. Even worse, the assembled shelving is unstable. I cannot see how Sam's Club can rate it as capable of accommodating anything more than light weight items. I will be returning this as soon as I can. Sam's needs to work with a supplier to re-engineer this product to its previous standard, even if the price ends up being greater.

I should have checked the online reviews first. Like many people mentioned, mine came opened with all the shelves damaged (ordered 3 of them). I thought I would live with it, as it was for the basement. After a month or 2 when I started assembling, I realized there were many missing racks that probably fell down from the opened package. it was too late to return and now I'm stuck with useless pieces, I don't know what to do. Would NEVER recommend buying this online!

This took a rubber mallet and all the swear words known to put together. I have assembled shelves like this in the past but the quality of this is inferior. This would probably work well as two pieces but putting the top to the bottom is a nightmare. Even after getting it locked in properly the next morning I found that it had popped apart in some of the corners. I would not buy again and I do not recommend.
