These shelves are so flimsy. They kept falling apart while assembling. The top section is not secure at all. It just sits on the bottom section over a little lip. Do not recommend at all.

Bought because of the two units I bought from Sam's several years ago. Comparing these two, this new one is crap! So disappointed in quality and design.

Not sure how this got as much stars as it did. When I first started assembling it was wobbly as to be expected. After fully assembled it still wobbles and easily fall apart say you gently bump with nothing on it.

I have about 6 of these shelving units in my basement. They hold a lot of items and are still in good condition after 5 years. Sure, it was a pain to put together, but after I did the first one, the others were a breeze. Soon I bought 5 more for my husbands shop.

I bought 3 of these during the last One Day Sale in November 2018. I bought them only for the extra shelves to add to some that I had bought a while back from some Sam's also. The new thinner cross members don't line up with my existing shelves. The holes won't match up. Going to return these. They are much more flimsy than they used to be.

I've had several versions of this type of shelves over the years and this is by far the worst. The pins bottom out in the slots with no pressure or force. That pressure is what keeps other versions of this shelf upright and stable. This does not feel safe at all. I'll be returning it asap.

Industrial strength?! Maybe in China, but not in the U.S. I've been trying half the morning to assemble this awful thing. I have this exact model that I bought several years ago, and the difference in quality is obvious. The metal is now so thin that when you click one end into place, the other end pops back out. If I can ever get it together, and I'm very careful loading it, it might hold my boxes OK. I had planned on buying a dozen of these when we build our new house, but now I am going to have to rethink that decision.

I have spent well over an hour to assemble what should have been a fast build, and we aren't finished. This is a 2 person job, and the pieces fit together so loosely that I have zero confidence in the supposed 600 pound weight rating per shelf. We can't get it to stay together long enough to add the top, so I will likely be returning it tomorrow. 0/10 would NOT recommend if you enjoy your sanity. Or your belongings.

The product was easy to fix. But do not assemble all the racks go one after the other and make sure the wooden plank fits then you get an idea of how to install the top shelves.. overall beautiful product it has cleared most items from my garage and now it looks organized

We finally got the time to put this together last week. Upon opening the box, we found one shelf had a gash in it and we did not receive corner pieces shown on the instructions. We did not want to go to the trouble of shipping it back so we are just living with it the way it is. In fairness, due to illness in the family, I had not had time to contact Sam's Club about this. I would be hesitant to order again.
