I have purchased and assembled numerous shelving units in my time and this is probably the worst unit I have come across. I bought it for the dimensional sizing and shelf load. I guess I should have done more research on the quality factor. DO NOT try to assemble by yourself. The braces constantly fall loose as you try to put it together and I had to actually wire-tie the connections together to get them to stay long enough for it to be assembled. The designer of this should have a lobotomy so that they could never think up something this poorly designed again.

I want to return this piece of crap, but I don’t want to lug the 75 pound open box back to Sam’s. This is awful to put together and the beams do not lock or hold in place. The top and bottom piece do not fit together and a rubber mallet isn’t going to help anything. I wish I would’ve followed the other bad reviews and stayed away from this piece of junk!

I have bought over 50 of these shelves in the past . At that time Sam's was selling the Seville Classic brand. Just purchased 12 of the Members Mark Brand.. They are very flimsy and cheaply made. The metal is very thin. Legs easily Bend. Of course I already had my guys assemble them so I am stuck with them. Next time I'll order the Seville's online from Seville. More expensive but you get what you ;ay for.

We bought these shelves years ago and the first try putting them together was a bit hard. You need two people. But we have purchased more and they get easier to put together. Our shop looks awesome and they hold heavy items. We have had them 5 or 6 years and look like new. We are about to get these for our daughter and son-in-law's shop.

Junk!

Whoever designed this shelf must have been under the influence. Conceptually this would be great for a garage, but in reality, it is the most poorly thought out organizational tool in existence. After hours of attempting to assemble this item following every instruction provided word for word, the pieces still would not stay together. Every time I would fix a piece that became detached due to attaching another piece that had come loose for the same reason, I have deemed this shelf inoperable. I love Sam’s Club and have had great experience with many Member’s Mark products, but this makes me lose trust in not only the brand, but Sam’s Club in general.

Bought 3, returning 2. There obviously was an error in manufacturing, as the slot-holes are too large for the rivets, thus they do not seat securely, and assembly can be frustrating. WARNING! If you are successful in securing the top 3 foot section to the lower 4 foot section, you will have a high risk potential for injury at some point. My original intent was to use all three as the 7' high shelves which is what they are promoted as, but because it is made to assemble as two parts, one 4' and one 3', I can use those and will thus keep 1 of the 3 that I bought, just because it will take too much time to repackage it. Lastly, the guage of the metal posts is more lightweight than I expected, making the advertised load capacity suspect, in my opinion.

These are the worst storage shelves I have purchased. I have purchased two other varieties from members mark and they were both great, so I thought these ones would be too. I was sorely mistaken. All the reviews referencing the difficulty of assembly are spot on. Almost impossible to build and once assembled, can collapse with slight nudge.

I bought 4 of these and went to assemble this morning,it shows a rubber mallet but mine went together so loosly they would not stay together to stack the second set on and get it to stay togather.JUNK,,or bad design,I threw it all back in the box and returned them all,By the way,I am a contractor and can build anything,These were just plain no good.
