Brackets were bent

I have purchased a lot of things in my life. I have learned to research everything. My husband usually always does his research. He liked this shelf because of its height and because of its price tag. Personally I am always wary of something with a cheap price tag, however, I will sometimes give it a chance. The shelf looked okay in the store, a little unstable but we figured with stuff on it and up against the wall it wouldn’t be an issue. I. Was. Wrong. We got the shelf home and the beginning of assembly went well, however the second we attempted to put the two half’s together? Everything came crashing down. The bars would NOT stay locked in. At all, nothing we did mattered. We checked everything. All the other bars were straight, locked in, level, perfect! WHYYYYY would the thing NOT lock in?! It eventually came down to my husband grabbing his drill and a box of self tapping sheet metal screws and literally screwing the bars to the upper supports. As soon as he screwed all the shelves in the whole thing is SOLID. My advice? DO NOT BUY THIS!! GO and get yourself a shelf that has bolts to secure its parts. Get something quality. Will it be more expensive? Yes, but you will be happier.

Pretty much junk. I've put many shelves together over the years, these are by far the worst. This company could spend just ten cents to make assembly easier but they don't. I bought 2, will keep the one that I finally got put together, it might be good to store some lighter weight items. The other I'll return. If these were on sale for 100% off I'd still pass.

I have purchased and assembled numerous shelving units in my time and this is probably the worst unit I have come across. I bought it for the dimensional sizing and shelf load. I guess I should have done more research on the quality factor. DO NOT try to assemble by yourself. The braces constantly fall loose as you try to put it together and I had to actually wire-tie the connections together to get them to stay long enough for it to be assembled. The designer of this should have a lobotomy so that they could never think up something this poorly designed again.

flimsy and not sturdy

If you have any other option for a storage rack I suggest you take it. The metal is horribly flimsy, the pockets where the pegs are supposed to fit in are as loose as you could possibly imagine. If you don't want to start flinging these pieces halfway across your yard, go shop somewhere else.

Such a pain to put up. As you put one side in the other comes out. The come undone way too easily. I absolutely hate these shelves. We had to take them down to fix the floor in my pantry. Even harder to put up the second time. I hate these.shelves. Screw them and the idiots that designed them.

Assembly is a nightmare. Does not snap together, flimsy. I had it together and started putting items on it, and the shelf unlatched and everything fell on the floor. Will use it as two separate units, not one tall unit. I would NOT recommend. Very disappointed. Although the price was good, it was still too much for what I got. Poor quality and workmanship.

These are the worst storage shelves I have purchased. I have purchased two other varieties from members mark and they were both great, so I thought these ones would be too. I was sorely mistaken. All the reviews referencing the difficulty of assembly are spot on. Almost impossible to build and once assembled, can collapse with slight nudge.
