Material is too thin. Rivets don't wedge into post slots securely so usually come out and need to be pushed back in while putting other rivets into slots. Rivets should require pounding in with rubber mallet to hold securely during assembly, but these you easily slide in with bare hands and just as easily they slide out when putting other rivets into slots.

High quality and very sturdy. Wish I had bought a couple more while they were on sale. Fairly simple to assemble. Rubber mallet is highly recommended. Used as two separate units (three shelves each). They will not separate as shown in the photos. Needs to be packaged better because one shelf was damaged and several corners were slightly damaged. The packages weigh about 85 pounds, so it's hard for one delivery person to handle. I called the 800 number a replacement shelf was here in three days. I'll be watching for them to go on sale again!

It's okay. They make a 5 shelf storage rack which is a little deeper and shorter but seems better constructed. I use this to store light boxes on each shelf, so the size fits the space perfectly, but the quality seems flimsy. The metal is weak and bends very easily, so when putting the shelves in, be careful not to bend them. It took multiple attempts to put it together because every time I put in a shelf, it seemed to pop out. After it was all constructed, it was fairly sturdy so I didn't feel like it was going to fall over, but it took significantly longer than the 5 rack due to it's poorer construction. It's worth the money if you need something taller and more shallow, especially if you're not storing a bunch of heavy things. But in my opinion, if space isn't an issue and the height (and one less shelf) is fine, I'd recommend going with the 5 rack for $10 more.

These are nice shelves. I bought 2 sets and am pleased now that they are set up. My husband and I are very experienced DIY people. The assembling of these shelves was as we say down south, a real goat roping. You really need 8 hands. We finally starting tying them with easy to cut off garden string as we went and it was easier.

I purchased this for temporary storage of records in the office. Assembly is not for the faint-hearted and be aware that the middle shelf has to be installed permanently at the spot where the side supports join. Once assembled it worked out so well that we purchased 2 more.

Purchased one in store and loved it, purchased 2 more of the exact same shelf, same product number, and they are terrible cheap junk. We ended up having to weld them together to get them to work. We should have just taken them back but we are 2 hours from a store and in the middle of a project. Do yourself a favor and get these in store only.

This is a sturdy rack and is just what I needed for storing stuff in the garage. It comes with 6 shelves, however, I only installed 5 because the spacing was a little tighter than I needed. It definitely takes two people to set it up, so make sure you have a couple of extra hands before you start.

The shelf panels have been made thinner to save on costs. They drop down between the support rails causing any items push or pulled on the shelf to drag badly. With the metal shelf supports being a thin metal this can cause them to bend. Unless you make and install additional cross-bracing to hold the supports and keep them from flexing. Would be a decent product but for this.

Awful - we have bought multiple storage racks - many different price points. There are no positive comments. Wobbly, out of square, cannot move at all. We wanted to return but fighting to get back in the box and haul in wasn’t worth it. This will go in the garbage as as we get a replacement.

Was able to totally organize my garage with these!!! Yes, at times it took two people to put together, but it was simple construction. Only need a mallet. Delighted i was able to customize shelf height, so everything had a perfect fitting sturdy place.
