I bought these shelves a few weeks ago and they are just as promised! We’re shipped very quickly, tracked perfectly, and arrived on time. They are super sturdy and we’re priced amazingly. They are commercial grade and work great for my Cleaning business. They are strong enough for my linens, equipment, supplies, and everything else. They hold so much more than I thought they would. Great product for the money!

I own 22 sets of similar shelves purchased over a 20 year period from Sam's Club. Every newer version gets flimsier. Some of these shelves I have moved several times. I have NEVER needed any help to assemble. These required an extra pair of hands. The vertical supports are in two sections and are joined together by one set of the shelf supports. The biggest problem is the rivets. The instructions indicate that you will need a mallet to tap the pieces together. Not so! They are so loose that they just fall together, and just as easily fall apart! Very frustrating to assemble, and as I said, I have assembled many similar sets of shelving. Make sure that you assemble this VERY close to where you want it, as it will be very difficult to move, as it will just fall apart. Once assembled and positioned, the shelf is just adequate. I was able to place it next to another, better, shelf and bolted them together to provide some stability. I cannot image loading these to even 1/3 of the rated capacity. I will not buy any more of these. I suggest that Sam's Club find another vendor/manufacturer to provide higher quality shelves. I would pay more for better quality.

Bought during a one day sale, glad I did. Decided to make 2 shorter shelves rather than 1 tall one. Fits perfectly in space. Was a little tricky to get initial parts together, but once lowest shelf was together, others were easy. Not thick steel but will last for a long, long time. Worth price without question.

I like the item but if you do not have two people; it is hard to put together. I haven't put anything on it yet so I don't know how sturdy it is but from the looks of it being completely put together it going to serve it purpose for what I wanted it for.

Purchased a similar unit about 4 years ago, from same store and it was constructed much better. On the old unit the shelf rails fit tightly into the legs, this unit the shelf rails are loose and it was difficult to assemble. The unit got a little sturdier when the shelves were installed.

Very sketchy unit, opposite of the deeper 5 shelf from the same company. I also have the 24” deep 5 shelf unit by the same company and the difference is night and day. This one is hazardous to put together without a helper. The way the upper and lower portion fit together is scary and a royal pain to get correct. I did get it put together and have a decent amount of weight on it but distributed the bulk of the weight across the lower section. I don’t know how they determine the weight limit for each shelf but I certainly would not want to be within 500’ of this thing when someone attempts the kind of weight it is rated for. To give some perspective...most people say I am extremely handy, this is certainly not my first shelf that I have assembled. I generally build my own as furniture making is a hobby. With the price of lumber up 200% and the fact that I have the other unit that is excellent, I decided to try this one for a quick solve. It is partially working but I will need to brace it and attach to wall studs for any confidence in its weight capacity.

The item assembles easily enough but the stacking feature is difficult to achieve and in my opinion dangerous. The feature requires two people and is at best precarious when completed. I installed 4 mending plates at the corners to ensure the top did not dislodge and fall. This increased both the cost and time involved. The wrack when completed is less stable than desirable and I stabilized it by fastening it to the wall. All in all though, the product is reasonably well made but is not to be confused with wracks which are bolted together throughout, and which provide much more stability although take much longer to assemble. It is probably priced right for what it is.

Sturdy shelves and holds pretty well, only downside is that the long rails running across the front are flimsy and things get caught when pulling stuff out of the shelves.When moving the shelves recommend having two people since unit does not have a good lock system. I paid $75.

This rack is a great bargain overall. I needed adjustable shelves that would hold a lot of weight. Assembly is tricky and does require 2 people. Adding the top layer requires at least 2 people, but it was stable once all assembled. It seems unstable during assembly, but trust the process. And install a full shelf early in assembly to stabilize everything.

It is definitely big enough to put all my garage items; even the foldable chairs fitted in. One main concern is the quality of plywood sheets. I thought the shelves were metal too but disappointed to see them in wood. 2 out of 6 were slightly bent and it could be broken anytime. Since I bought it on thanksgiving sale, its ok to keep. You wont find anything for 40$
