[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator to replace one that was 31 years old. The main function that we wanted was an ice maker and cold-water dispenser. The old refrigerator's ice maker hadn't worked in years. This refrigerator's ice maker works great and makes life much easier. My only complaint is that it occasionally drips water at the cold-water dispenser after we replaced the water filter which is why i only gave it 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a nice looking refrigerator. The filter is easy to change. Temperature seems pretty even throughout. Space could be better utilized. I'm not a huge fan of side-by-side as compared with French doors on top and freezer on the bottom. I miss my old fridge. Besides that, the ice maker releases ice very slowly, so it can be annoying to fill up a large cup. Otherwise, the fridge is fine.

ice maker is horrible. it makes very little ice. its so bad i finally bought a separate ice maker. i miss having a light by the controls for the water and ice as you can not see the buttons in the evening. there is not enough light in side the fridge itself. one thing i missed prior to purchasing is there is no cold cut drawer on the higher levels.

I purchased less than two years ago and the mother board and compressor died. The ice machine does not hold much ice. There is no light on the water/ice dispenser. I do like the flat front door and the interior door shelves as well as the freezer shelves.

I'm 2 years in on ownership and feel qualified to write this as a long-term review. Overall, I like the look and general performance, but all things considered its a fridge. Now considering its a Samsung, is supposed to be modern and convenient is where things take a turn. The ice maker is infuriating at best. It makes ice but good luck getting ice out. The arm churns endlessly with not a cube in sight and its either clogged with a random iceberg or my personal favorite a chute full of snow that dumps on the floor when you remove the bin. Clearing either I've learned is a 2-person job and makes the ice maker useless. I know you're thinking just turn it off - well it turns itself back on automatically. So even though I can't depend on the ice maker to give me ice, I can depend on the ice maker to drive me up the wall and make a mess. Avoid this fridge unless you use it without the waterline connected or get it secondhand and don't mind the potential mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most spacious refrigerator I have purchased it holds all liters and gallons in the door. The inside shelves have great spacing and depth for multiple items and leftovers still in pots or pans. The freeze side has an icemaker built-in the door which gives you more space for freezing meats and frozen foods.

i chose this fridge due to the space it held. i like the layout & space. having the ice maker built into the door saves space in the freezer. when i store milk gallons on the bottom shelf along the back wall, they will freeze. we chose the black stainless steel after having a hard time finding a plain black fridge. the black stainless steel is very pretty but sensitive. it definitely does show fingerprints, watermarks, etc & also scratches easily. we have only had it a little over two months and it already shows scuffs on the doors & we have no idea where they came from. it is a fragile finish & the scuffs show quite a bit on this surface. i like the space of the fridge, but if you are concerned about scuffs & external durability, definitely choose a different type of finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the nicest fridge I've ever owned. I absolutely love the black stainless steel, and it is amazing at resisting finger prints. There is so much space inside for anything and everything you could possibly need/want. Recessed door handles add to the sleek look and are still accessible for my 3 year old. Love how the light is set flat on the top and still lights the entire fridge/freezer very nicely. All the shelves and drawers are easy to remove for cleaning, and are very well made. The only thing I'm not sure I'm crazy about, is the fact that you can't reposition the shelves at different heights if wanted, although I can't foresee my self missing that feature too much. Also super excited that the water filter is easy access to replace when necessary. Love that the ice maker is easily removed if you want to make lots of extra ice. Overall Thurs fridge had loads of great features and I can't wait to upgrade the rest of our kitchen appliances to match. Get this fridge and you won't be disappointed.

I bought it almost a year ago, it has served its purpose very well for a year now, its large compartments can store anything you need (food related) easy to use settings, freezer keeps food deep frozen, we live in an area with summer temperatures above 110 all day long and fridge keeps everything cold, my kids favorite feature is the ice maker dispenser (creshed-cubes) it makes enough ice for a family of 5 100% satisfied customer

I thought the ice maker on my old 2008 refrigerator was bad, but this one is very noisy both while making ice and also dispensing it. The ice maker also gives me crushed ice in half my glass when I have it on "cubes" dispensing. Also, there is NO LIGHT where the water and ice are dispensed.
