Limited room ice bin. No dispenser light.
Refrigerator maintains temperature well. Plenty of room but the small ice bin is troublesome. A family of four or more likely would not appreciate this. The extra ice bin I keep in the freezer eliminates the benefit of the space-saver ice bin. The outside walls are fingerprint-resistant but the doors are not which seems strange. Also, there is no light at the door water and ice dispenser. This is a bit irritating. Overall, it is a good refrigerator. There are just a few options that I did not consider carefully enough before buying.
Elegant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant design, Samsung! We love this gorgeous, side-by-side. The stainless black is beautiful & easy to clean outside and in! The interior design optimizes the usage of space & function for easy access and specialized storage to maintain freshness. The exterior water/ice was a cinch to plumb in, quickly makes & refills (TONS of) ice while keeping hydration at our fingertips! Simple installation is a major bonus! The adjustable shelving & bins accommodate special events where we have varying sized items. The removable bins make keeping the interior tidy as well as clean an absolute breeze. One thing that was a pleasant surprise is how lightweight the doors feel to open/close. Odd, I know, but it's wonderful to not yank on a heavy door! Since we eat LOADS of fresh veggies, our favorite thing is the humidity controlled bins that keep vegetable and fruit at the optimal humidity and temperature to stay fresh longer. And the LED lighting... so easy on the eyes but bright and well placed so everything is easy to find! Overall, we are so pleased with our new Samsung Refrigerator! It provides simple, beautiful joy!
Excellent Refrigerator

Ice Machine in door frees up more freezer room - the interior is spacious and the door shelving is sturdy and not brittle like our last two refrigerators from a competitor. The only con I can note is no light in the ice and water dispenser area
Elegant Design, Cavernous Interior!
the first criteria i had was storage capacity, followed closely by price. storage capacity is huge, with the perfect balance of square footage between the fridge & freezer. side-beside refrigerators are no longer so popular, but are a far more efficient use of space, especially in the freezer vs the pull-out drawer type, which waste a ton of space accommodating sliding drawers etc. samsung's stainless steel finish has a richness & depth to it that no other brand comes close to, & this combined with this appliances design aesthetic made it a simple choice for me. pro's huge capacity simple, elegant design door mounted ice maker deep freeze setting -8°f excellent interior lighting cold air circulation con's needs 1 more shelf in fridge no lighting over ice/water dispenser
Luxurious modern and spacious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like I‘ve been upgraded to state of the art luxury,I am so happy and excited with my new Samsung refrigerator I keep going into the kitchen and admiring it.This fridge cools every corner evenly with the all around cooling my sodas, milk, and soft drinks are chilled perfectly every time.There is so much storage space in this fridge with the Fridge drawers you can fit all your vegetables and then some. The door bins are big enough to fit large items like two gallons of milk or a few two liter soda and so much more.The fingerprint resistant makes it makes a huge difference with the ease of cleaning off prints or smudges,The interior led lighting is perfectly balanced for a great all around illumination. The freezer also has a drawer perfect to store franks or sausages The freezer has more than enough space to hold all thatI need,The ice maker has the selection of cubed ice or crushed ice I am so happy and a proud owner of a Samsung refrigerator.
Failed 3 wks out of warranty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Failed, one year and 3 weeks out of warranty. Fridge is up to 52deg and freezer is 38. Lost mostly everything and supposedly new control board is on way. Been down for over 10 days now still waiting on Samsung repairman and new part. Previous Samsung lasted 4 years and 3 months. Do not recommend.

So far so good
my samsung refrigerator has performed well over the time i have owned it. i have only found two problems that i have been unable to overcome. the ice maker capacity and ice production is smaller and slower than the lg that i really enjoyed. from time to time we have had to buy bags of ice to fill the ice hopper. i wish it were more like the lg i so dearly loved, but unable to purchase. also, the refrigerator lower shelf in the rear seems to freeze much of the liquids when on the lower shelf to the rear of the refrigerator. we can't put the milk or juice in the back of the fridge on the lowest shelf.

Everything is nice but the Ice Maker
we have had this otherwise impressive fridge since december 2020. the fridge is very spacious. we regularly keep the fridge stocked with beverages, meats & veggies, and more. where there is a total letdown is the ice maker. it makes ice but the shoot that the ice is supposed to be dispensed through froze over with this huge iceberg. i have been thawing it out. i wanted to share the situation here. let's see what the results are. samsung, please make it right!

Another dud from Samsung.
This was purchased as a replacement for our RF28HFEDBSR/AA which had it's ice maker break out of warranty and Samsung wanted us to fix it on our dime, that fridge is now under a class action suit and Samsung are replacing them because of the bad ice maker design. Well this differently designed ice maker comes with a very similar issue, it is also unusable just out of warranty and again it's on us to take on the burden of repair, yet unfortunately this one isn't under the lawsuit so I am left appealing to Samsung to do the right thing and get us a working fridge. They stopped even putting in door ice dispensers in new models because the airflow causes issues with them yet I have to pay for a repair which clearly won't solve a design issue.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!
This is the worst fridge I've ever own. The ice make broke 1 month after the warranty expired and Samsung refuses to cover it, even though the ice maker is a known issue and Samsung has faced several lawsuits over thier ice makers. They want to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace it. Before the ice maker broke, I had to make the freezer as cold as it would go just to get more than a cup of ice to be made in a day. I will never buy another Samsung product after my experience with this fridge, appliance or electronic. Samsung lost a customer for life by refusing to fix their faulty ice makers.
