I thought that the rice was genuinely planted side by side with pandan leafs or from a variety of rice that has pandan scent. Rice growth naturally with pandan leafs will make the scent stick. I can not 100% certain but from what I can smells this one like just some pandan scent mixed with rice.

The rice is not what I’m used to. I went in to purchase the basmati rice like I had always bought. They didn’t have it and that was the only option. I decided to give it a try. I cooled some and it was very bad. The rice is not as long grain as the basmati brand. And it was very mushy and no flavor. So I returned it.

To be honest, I tried this rice due to the price, and it has a smell and aftertaste like plastic. When I cook the rice I use to fry it before add water and that's the moment it is more noticeable. I guess I got a bad lot. I don't know if I can get a refund.

It smell really bad

I love Jasmine rice so I wanted to try MM Jasmine rice. Even I saw both positive and negative reviews you never know how is the quality so I bought one bag to try. I was excited because it's good price for 25lbs I have cooked twice and the smell and taste are very bad like dirt and seems like it's been kept in not right place. So my case I didn't have luck. However I see lots of good reviews as well so why not trying if it's good deal?

It is cost effective compared to the brands that I regularly purchase from Asian grocery stores, but the taste is not as good. Not much of the fragrance and not as fluffy and tender. This will probably be the backup when I don't have time to drive to an Asian store.

This rice used to be very good. But not any longer! It's super sticky when cooked and very hard when you some has been left over. How unfortunate that I bought a 50lb bag. It's my last bag, moving to another brand, and I'll ask others to change to if they can. Something isn't right!!!!
