To be honest, I tried this rice due to the price, and it has a smell and aftertaste like plastic. When I cook the rice I use to fry it before add water and that's the moment it is more noticeable. I guess I got a bad lot. I don't know if I can get a refund.

Taste good

I have been buying this rice since I became a member. Always the same quality, we were never disappointed. Similar or comparable to other jasmine rice at the $30 price point on 25lbs size. If you're thinking twice, just order one and try it for yourself.

We buy JASMINE rice because it has a beautiful aroma when cooked, but the one I bought in December was weird. It seems like a mixture of a regular white grain and a little of Jasmine. It just smells and tastes OFF. I just hope the production or repacking department did not mess up with this. We really can tell the difference.

My family loves jasmine rice! I was upset that I could not find the 25 lb bags then remembered Sam's has it. I have been using a rice cooker for many years but this last bag of rice just can't get right! It is always wet, gummy, and clumped together. I will not purchase this brand again.

I've bought many types of rice and generally cook with a 2 to 1 ratio of water to rice. This rice was mush at that ratio. The water does not cook off. Never happened before. It's almost like pasta. I cooked again with the amount that directions called for and it was better but not much. I've bought this before a few years ago and had no issues. Seems like something is different

Very good product!
