I love being able to to adjust the temperature from my phone or just by telling Alexa and the timer and sleep mode are very convenient. It cools down the room fast and keeps it super comfortable. Setup was straightforward and didn't take long, having an extra set of hands definitely helps since its heavy. Overall love this sturdy, powerful, smart ac!

The app is easy and it was quick to setup and use. I've had no issues with having to restart or anything. It cools well and It seems like it is going to work well for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first time owning a window AC unit. We actually live in a brand new build and our upstairs does not have individual temp control. In the winter it's SO cold, and summer SO hot. It's been such a huge disappointment for us, but this definitely is something that's going to make a huge improvement for us. This is a very heavy product and you can tell it's made well. It has a variety of settings which I appreciate because sometimes you just need a little Airflow and sometimes you need that full blast. It's also super quiet, we have 3 toddlers and quiet fans are totally fine but anything loud will really disturb them. We are so happy with this product and it's improved our comfort in our home so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Midea SmartCool Window A/C was simple to build, easy to install, and the WiFi/voice controls are incredibly convenient to use. The unit quickly cooled down my 195sqft bedroom and kept it comfortable throughout the entire night, creating a tolerable sleeping environment on an otherwise hot evening. Unfortunately, the unit is very noisy when the fan kicks into high. This isn't a deal breaker for my home, as my spouse and I are heavy sleepers, however it is certainly loud enough to wake someone that sleeps lightly.

This product is inferior. I wrote another review explaining why but Sam's didn't like it. I had to carry these units all over the place and in the end they failed to deliver. So I had to carry them back to Sam's. Waste of time and energy on my part. I mentioned to the Sam's staff the problem and they agreed that other unsatisfied customers felt the same when returning theirs. I asked why the reviews misled me, no response.

This is a very poor quality product, underperforms in any aspect (air is not cold enough and fan can not disperse it more than 1 foot from the grill at its highest speed). To make things worse, it is unbelievably noisy (no way to sleep at night having it ON). Last, Customer Service is just utterly junk - agents can barely speak/understand English, have no training at all, and will truly waste your time (I tried with 3 different agents). This is a nightmare company. Sam's Club need to stop carrying Midea's air conditioning products

We have a GE window-mounted air conditioner from Sam's. It Is now in its third year and cooling well. We chose the Midea because it was on sale and had a more high-tech user interface. It looks to be a close relative of our GE, judging by the coil, compressor, and outer frame. The GE Is a Haier brand; so the Midea probably is as well. So far, our Midea works well, though perhaps it Is a bit noisier at its lowest fan speed than the GE. We would buy the Midea (and GE) again.

Our sons room is the hottest in the house. Direct sunlight all day. We have central air but with this heat, it’s just so warm in his room. We upgraded to this window unit and it’s so nice. Cooled down the room within minutes. It came with a little remote but the best feature is the app. Being able to set a schedule for morning/evenings! Amazing. Can check the app and see exactly what temp his room is, what the house is, what the city is. The cord is nice and long. You can have the display on or off. Easy filter change. I’m super happy and highly recommend.

Nice little A/C, it was a little finicky to get the plug to reset to allow it to turn on, but it finally worked and the remote control never worked, checked the battery, and then looked at it through an infrared camera to make sure it was working but no dice on working the A/C. It was for my son who said he was more likely to use the wifi app anyway. So all is good. And the best part is that it fit our narrow windows.
