Worn out quick

Yes like the rest I did not get much more then 20000 before neighborhood tire shop said no need to rotate because you need two fronts now and two rears soon after. I thought he was kidding and of course trying to make a sale however other major tire shops confirmed

Short miles poor wear characteristics

Tires are quiet and handle well smooth as glass on the highway. Ice and snow performance are good. When new the performance was good. Now at 29K miles and they are worn to 4/32 and my tire shop says they are not safe to rebalance due to wear. These only start with 8.5/32 tread very shallow IMHO. Not a 60K mile tire in my experience. I've run michelins all my life, dozens of sets on trucks and cars and bicycles and this is my first bad experience with a tire. I've had three sets of LTX MS and ATs on my truck and they have all been great. Defender LTX on my Honda now and love them. The premier is expensive and short lived. 255/55R18 on Mercedes ML500.

Replacing tires at 15,000 miles

I have Premier LTX on my 2017 Acadia. I have been told they need to be replaced at 15,000 miles. These came with the car. One person who looked at them said they were peeling. I need to replace them but I don't know with what. I am afraid to buy Michelin. It would be nice if the company would do something. I'm 45000 short of the warranty.

Poor treadlife performance

These tires were stock on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They performed well when they were new; however, upon recent inspection the treads are worn down (~2/32”) and require replacement after only 32k miles. The tires were rotated at 5k and always maintained at the proper pressure. Very disappointed in the short life span, especially considering how much these tires cost.

24,500 miles and already worn out!

Just was told by my tire store, the 2017 OEM Michelin Premier LTX on my 2017 GMC Acadia need to be replaced very soon, after only having 24,410 miles on the odometer. The tires have been rotated today for the 4th time, 3 recorded rotations performed by dealerships/ shops, one tire rotation that I did myself. In all those years (30+) of me driving cars, this is by far the worst tire thread wear I ever have experienced. I had not a single set of tires on any of my cars, that would not at least held up to the manufacturer's limited thread wear warranty stated mileage.

Terrible Tread Life

Purchased the tires January 2017 with 33,733 miles on the vehicle and had them replaced December 2019 with 56,164 miles on the vehicle. The tires were rotated with every vehicle maintenance and I would have expected longer life than 22,400 miles for the price paid for these tires. When new the ride was smooth and quiet, but in no way makes-up for the tread life.

Very low mileage

The tread life mileage on these tires is far below the range expected; supposed to be 6 year 60,0000 and we are getting 4 year and under 40,000. The dealer said that the tread wear at 36,000 miles of mixed driving will not pass inspection. The ride started smooth and quiet, but has become rough in the last year. Very disappointed in tread llfe and ride quality and cannot recommend these tires.

Fantastic while they lasted

Bought these just over 2 years ago and they had a perceivable improvement over the OEM tires they replaced, especially in standing water on the road. Only got about 45,000 out of them before I had to replace them though. I do 100 miles a day, 50 miles each way highway, no hulling or towing. Loved the tire, will probably go with something else next time to get more life.

They suck

I bought a brand new truck in 2017 with these tires on it, and already I could not pass inspection with them. I had to buy 4 brand new tires for my vehicle. I only have 39k miles on my vehicle, I balance and rotate them frequently but still they wore out.

Soft rubber = Soft ride

Drive Toyota Highlander. Purchased these tires in July 2018 (odometer 166239). Toyota service inspection showed over all 4.5/32 tire tread September 2020 (odometer 198252). Recommendations were to replace soon due to safety reasons. So, after 32,000 miles I decided to buy the same Premier LTX tire. Why? The soft rubber gives my SUV a good ride with good traction. I gave a 3 star obviously for poor 60K warranty. Michelin needs to change the warranty to 45K like there Pilot tire.
