Michelin Premier LTX for Porsche with lighter foot

This time I put "not approved" non N-spec tires on my Porsche 955. I would have shoed her with Michelin Latitudes if I was still driving it. I gave this Porsche to my daughter who is 17 and I'm trusting Michelin again to provide safe and reliable shoes for her. They drive smooth and stop great!

Poor tread wear

Bought these tires 2 years ago. Car has 40k mileage since then, but maybe 10k of that was on winter tires so looking at 30k or so and need to replace. Am a pokey driver. Down to about 3/32 now. Tires are making a tons of noise now and causing vibrations. These tires are awesome in every other way - were quiet, nice road feel, good grip etc. Just too expensive to replace every 30k. Mileage warranty is a joke. 100K? In which universe? So restrictive that you could not claim I suspect - no way I can go all the way to 2/32 for example - would go deaf by then. Treadwear is a shame as otherwise a great tires. Lots of other reviews saying exactly the same thing, so I am not just some disgruntled wacko.

Great Tire

Bought these tires to replace the original tires on my 2013 Santa Fe and highly recommend them after one month of testing. Smooth, quite, great handling and NO road noise at any speed which is a huge bonus. I’ve had different Michelin’s in the past and these rate the quietest so far.

Tire out of round trigger vibration at 70 mph ?

I have got 4 new Premier LTX 255-55R18 V rated tires. They are amazing in comfort, traction, handling on local street; however they are vibrating at 70 mph on freeway. I never experience vibration with Latitude HP tires which were replaced on same SUV. I research online and I have found people have same experience with vibration at high speed only with their new vehicles too. So far, the vibration is determined by "out of round". I am very dissapointed with initial quality. My tires are MADE IN POLAND instead of USA. I will bring my car back to America Tires as I just bought them 3 weeks ago and I hope new tires will not have vibration.

2018 Acadia Low Miles

I agree with similar reviews. Michelin makes good tires but I personally would stay away from these ones. My 2018 Acadia Denali came with these and hit the dealer "red zone" in a very short time. Tires aren't cheap and this is obviously disappointing.

Bought this for snow

I am now in my 2nd winter with these tires and I couldn't be more pleased. Outstanding traction on snow packed roads and even do a good job on the icy roads here in Colorado. These tires still look brand new and are performing as well as when they were first installed. I would highly recommend.

Mercedes Benz ML250 Bluetech

Since changing from Continental Cross Tracks(Only got 19k miles on them) to the Mich Premiere LXT, the MB rides so much better and they handle great in the Rain. I live in Colorado and waiting to see how they handle in the snow. Slightly better Fuel mileage overall.

Wear out FAST

Wear out incredibly fast. These came as OEM on my 2021 Lexus RX. Regular rotation, no uneven wear and all four tires need replacement at 33,000 kms. I put on winter tires every fall, so they have only been used for 6 months a year. Always had nothing but good experiences with Michelin in the past, but this level of wear is ridiculous.

Satisfied customer

I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE FWD, originally equipped w/ Michelin Latitude Tour 245/60R18. Had ~47K miles when one tire had to be repeatedly inflated. Yep, you guessed it; it had a nail in the sidewall (irrepairable). Bought 2 Premier LTX, same size, put on rear. Just one day into use, only on dry surface, I'm very happy. The car (tires) seems to be "sure-footed" (grips the road better than the Latitude Tour) & is quiet-riding. It's too early to brag about anything else; but, I'm happy that the salesman @ Discount Tire recommended them. When I replace the other two tires, the Premier LTX will be my first choice.

Very Disappointed!!

I never write a review about anything. This is actually my first time writing a review. I bought my CRV from a highly reputable used car dealer. My CRV only had 41K at the time. I had the dealer remove the tires at the time and insisted they install these Michelin tires as part of the sale agreement. Disappointment is an understatement. My CRV now has 61K and the rubber on the tires is literally peeling off the tread and are worn badly. I'm not sure why I asked to have Michelin tires put on my CRV. I want these tires replaced!!
