The substitution for diet Mt Dew was regular Mt.Dew. This is unexcepatable! Regular soda is NOT Diet soda!

I grew up drinking mountain dew as both my parents drank it so I always love a good cold mountain dew. I also love the special edition ones

I’m Not going to pay 698 a 12 pack for the Mountain Dew that’s ridiculous it should be the same as the 12 pack for 24 cans!!

I usually order Dr. Pepper or Coke, but I thought I'd try something different.  Apparently,  Mt. Dew has changed its formula, and not for the good.  The new taste is flat and tastes almost like a diet drink, and yes, I did check to see if I got the wrong thing. I guess the industry did not learn a thing from the "New Coke" and "Crystal Pepsi" fiascos. Since I already opened the package, I can't return it, but I definitely will not be ordering this product again.

Mountain Dew is unique. I've never tasted another brand/generic soda that's even remotely close in flavor, mouth feel, and satisfaction. Is jt good for you? No, not at all. Nothing but empty calories. heartburn, and tooth decay. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Few things as memorable as drinking a cold can of MTD, eating a slice of your favorite pizza, and crushing your friends in a round of your favorite game. On a related noted, the sugar free version tastes more like diet than regular, so thanks but no thanks. Sugar free Pepsi on the other hand is much closer to the original and worth the switch if Pepsi is your thing. There will always be a place in my heart and a hole in my teeth/stomach for original MTD though. I sure miss the days when a 12 oz can was 25c or even less if you bought a 12 or 24 pack. A soda addiction can definitely put a significant dent in your bank account.
