There once was a man with a powerful thirst, Who knew that plain water would simply be worst. He wanted some bubbles! Some citrus! Some zing! A cold fizzy beverage fit for a king! So home came a box with a wonderful stack, Not six, not twelve, but a TWENTY-FOUR PACK! Twenty-four Dews in their aluminum shells, A glorious sight that no photograph tells. A Dew when I'm working! A Dew when I'm done! A Dew while I'm doing absolutely none! A Dew in the garage! A Dew watching shows! A Dew simply because that's the way that it goes! They're sweet and they're fizzy and wonderfully cold, A flavor that's somehow just never grown old. Some people drink coffee. Some people drink tea. Those people can have it. More Mountain Dew for me. The only real problem, and this much is true: Twenty-four sounds like plenty until you like Dew. You watch that big case slowly dwindle away, Then stare at the last can on one dreadful day. "Oh NO!" you will shout. "This simply won't do!" And back to the store for more Mountain Dew.
