I was writing this as my grandson, since I've never liked Mountain Dew. When he visits, I buy it. It has more caffeine than coke, too. And I couldn't even tolerate the diet, although I only drink Zeroes or Diet Sodas. I'm giving it 5 stars per my grandson, who prefers it over other sodas, although he will drink my Zero Cherry Coke and Dr. Pepper if he runs out Mountain Dew.

Mountain Dew is unique. I've never tasted another brand/generic soda that's even remotely close in flavor, mouth feel, and satisfaction. Is jt good for you? No, not at all. Nothing but empty calories. heartburn, and tooth decay. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Few things as memorable as drinking a cold can of MTD, eating a slice of your favorite pizza, and crushing your friends in a round of your favorite game. On a related noted, the sugar free version tastes more like diet than regular, so thanks but no thanks. Sugar free Pepsi on the other hand is much closer to the original and worth the switch if Pepsi is your thing. There will always be a place in my heart and a hole in my teeth/stomach for original MTD though. I sure miss the days when a 12 oz can was 25c or even less if you bought a 12 or 24 pack. A soda addiction can definitely put a significant dent in your bank account.

I always have been a big drinker of Mountain Dew, but recently I found out I was diabetic. So I had to quit drinking Mountain Dew, but when my sugar is low all I need to do is grab one can and it'll bring my sugar right up. I love the taste of Mountain Dew. I prefer it out of all sodas. Mountain Dew Original Soda was originally created to be a mixer for Bourbon and it was so good it because a stand alone pop. It has a bright citrussy flavor and low acidity. It is great as a mixer at get togethers or just alone on a hot day. With or without the bourbon, it's a refreshing drink. I tmay glow in the dark.

I wish I could quit Mountain Dew. I really do. I've had the talks with myself. Made promises. Tried to walk away. And yet… here I am, back again, 24 cans deep like nothing ever happened. It's crisp, it's dangerous, and it knows it has me exactly where it wants me.

The COST is ridiculous Walmart c'mon. I really like Mt. Dew but it seems quality standards are falling. Sometimes it's flat, sometimes it tastes "funny" like a hint of chemical but mostly always been my favorite, but I have been starting to by Coke original now.

I usually order Dr. Pepper or Coke, but I thought I'd try something different. Apparently, Mt. Dew has changed its formula, and not for the good. The new taste is flat and tastes almost like a diet drink, and yes, I did check to see if I got the wrong thing. I guess the industry did not learn a thing from the "New Coke" and "Crystal Pepsi" fiascos. Since I already opened the package, I can't return it, but I definitely will not be ordering this product again.
