Great set for the money. Took me 11 hours to install by myself. 2 guys could do it in 8 hours easily. A couple of tips. 1. Unpack everything and get it organized first. 2. Find the instructions and immediately throw them away. Go to the Lifetime website and download the correct instructions. They send outdated instructions in their kits with wrong part numbers. 3. Before inserting bolts, test connect them with the corresponding nut. Many damaged threads had to be corrected.

I bought this for my church....It took 5 men......... 13 hours to put this together and the worst part there were no instructions....after all was said and done my pastor downloaded the instructions to his phone and there were 96 pages of instructions. You should tell the person who buys this item there are no instructions....

We bought this set a little over a month ago and set it up 2 weeks ago. We wanted to surprise our 3 yr old for his birthday. He LOVES it!! It's a great set and I highly recommend it. My only issue with the set was how much of a pain it was to set up. My husband and I spent 12 hours putting it together. (Which after reading several other reviews, we knew it was going to be a challenge.) The instructions weren't very clear and several of the hardware pieces didn't fit together. We would spend 15-20 minutes on one screw trying to figure out how to make it work. This happened so many times I lost count. Thankfully, they included some extra pieces so we could switch a couple of them out... but not nearly enough of them. It was extremely frustrating. However, seeing his reaction made it all worth it.

The quality of this product is outstanding and our girls 2-8 love it.  The clubhouse is a great size for multiple kids to interact on the top and bottom at the same time.  This set is going to look brand new for years to come - unlike the wood sets that way too many people buy!

This is a wonderful playset that my kids LOVE! This was a gift and I am beyond thankful that we have it as our kids spend hours outside playing on this. This is a solid playset that is going to last a longtime (not like to wooden ones). The challenge on this was the setup as it took about 12hrs (split it up over two days). Someone with more experience could have done it in less time, but this was my first time to put something like this together and I ran into some self inflicted mistakes (read the directions very closely and look at the pictures to make sure you are putting together the right parts). No doubt that I would recommend this to anyone looking for a playset.

We did the research. For months we looked for the right playset, at an affordable price, for our two kids. We devided on this set; however we waited to purchase. We went to Lifetime's website... read the reviews... finally we made the purchase. The first thing we noticed when we picked the unit up, it was in so many pieces and not packaged very well. We opened each box only to see that there were no instructions included. I contacted Lifetime and asked if they could email me the directions. I was told no and given a link to go to. The link did not work. I contacted them again and was given another link.... After several tries/searches I finally found the instructions for this model in English. This was a purchase for my daughter's birthday. I started separating everything and getting it ready to put together a week before her big party. We are missing parts CBG (x2) ~what you included has ZERO holes drilled, AUH, AAN, DWR, CSD, hardware blister packs EBW DYF and EAL, hardware blisterpack DYG, and the end caps. The ones included with the set are wrong. My family flew in to town to help celebrate her birthday and put this monster together. Her party has come and gone and I had nothing to give her. At this point the only thing we can do is take it back. I can't tell you if it is difficult to install. We weren't able to put it together. We have gotten no where with customer service. Don't waste your money.... IF you do decide to purchase this, make them open it in the store and go through EVERY SINGLE BOX and check for the instructions and inventory the parts; otherwise you will end up frustrated and out of a lot of money.

After a year of owning this playset, it started to rust. A year and a half into owning the playset, the steps rusted off. I called Lifetime and they wanted to send individual pieces for replacement with me paying for shipping. Every metal piece needed to be replaced. We decided to decline their piece mill offer and tear down the playset. We will NEVER purchase another playset or product from ‘Lifetime'.

The set was delivered to my home in Tampa, FL area on April 2, 2021. The photos above were taken on April 12th, 2021. Functionally, it is a great set. My daughter loves it and it pains me to know that it will not last. Rust is starting to present itself following ten (10) Days of exposure to the elements. The set was constructed approximately 8 miles from Tampa Bay so the set did not see any high salinity. The parts affected are DXI (x2) and DZV (x2). These pieces bolt through the tower floor and support the railing on the tower. When the parts were installed, the tabs on the bottom bent slightly. They are made of thing-gauge steel which can be difficult to coat due to the sharp edges. The coating used has very little flexibility casing it to crack as can be seen in the photos. There are also areas where the welds have pinholes which expose the substrate underneath. Many of the parts are made with weep holes. Possibly for draining during the coating process or to allow for draining during install. The concern is that these areas are uncounted and the set may rust from the inside out. Consumers: please be advised of the above issues. Unless this product is to be used indoors or in low-moisture environments you may have issues regarding longevity. Lifetime: Some of the problems can be engineered out. Other problems could be resolved with your choice of coatings manufacturer. I would be happy to provide you with a formal proposal to perform any performance testing from an accredited third party testing lab to assist with improving your products and helping them live up to the brand name "LIFETIME." In the meantime, please send re-designed parts for replacement: So far the list is as follows: DXF x1, DXO x2, and DXI x2. Perhaps have the fab shop weld a slightly more thick base

Out playset has been installed for 1 year and 3 months and is rusting to pieces that we can no longer use the upper portion of the tower. The warranty is 5 years, but funny how it does not cover "rusting". I find it very odd that this portion of the tower is rusting, because it is the least exposed to the elements. However, the floor bracing has snapped in 2 places. It has to be a defect in the paint, material or manufacture. The remainder of the set has no rust? However, becase the parts rusted, it is not covered by the warranty. What a shame. I plan to avoid future lifetime purchases, because they just dont last. Especially in Florida.

The playset itself is very sturdy and my husband said it wasn't hard to put together! We also love the no maintenance part of this playset! I would definitely recommend this!
